Agreed. You have to remember, Hex55, that a certain % of Net posters are teens and early 20-somethings who see things through rose-colored glasses. They think they know it all, and don't want to be told what to do or be corrected on anything. Expressing an opinion is cool, but some just use the Net to harass...It's a shame.

And like I've always said, on a Net board, people use nicknames, so it's hard to tell who's being truthful and who isn't. The beauty and the curse of the Internet is that you can post just about anything you want. Why? Well--because you just CAN, and few people (if any) are going to attempt to verify whether it's fact or fiction. People will hate me for these statements, but hey, I'm used to that by now...

You just lost all my respect for you as an artist and as an person. I remember that post she made about the book, she didn't say 1 bad thing about you but just simply stated her opinion in the most plain, non - biased way.

Right. And this illustrates that you JUST DON'T KNOW who's telling the truth on message boards. No way to verify, no way to tell. As long as Get Low's MUSIC stays tight, I'm good to go. For me, worrying about the business aspects and speculating about things that I don't know about is what takes the fun out of enjoying music. Experiencing underground Cali Rap is a privilege, and I don't take it for granted.

Remember: life is too short to sweat the little things. Enjoy life and music while you can. You could die tommorow, and once you're dead, you can't come back. Think about it...

Actually, it reads like neither. It's more like a summary in an internet advice column. Like those "How to Give A Woman An Orgasm Everytime" columns in every corny issue of Maxim. You summarized several points, but didn't explain shit.

You would state that "Networking is very important" - but that's it. Had you taken a page or two to explain where to go to meet people and musicians for hire...how to put the word out you're looking for a producer or whatever...this may be 1-2-3 to you, but it's difficult for me. I've tried going to clubs or whatever and it's nothing but gay ass looking whiteboys and bullshittin ass MCs. I wish you had put a little more than "I set up shop in the hood" and "Networking is important."

Once I buy a product, I have absolutely no right to criticize it. People should just buy products and never say anything in evaluation of it. Anyone who buys a product of any sort, be it cars, CDs, or books needs to shut the fuck up and not speak about it. To do otherwise is "hating."

Remember, album, book, and performance reviews are bullshit. You have no right to criticize anything.

nostril-criticize the book or album all u fuckin want. if u don't like it, fine criticize it. when u start aiming these attacks at jt like he's the punk, that's where u r wrong. he didn't make u buy any of that shit. if i didn't like the manual i would say it aint worth the 100 bucks or whatever, the cd aint worth 15 bucks or here's the one that i don't get those 4 cd's aint worth the 15 dollars that i spent! LOL. jt is a down to earth man, i just don't agree with people criticizing his character, that's all.
