    Metal With Good Drumming

Any album or song names you could drop that I should look for? What do you like better just wondering? Old or new?

    Metal With Good Drumming

No, Et De Cela Rien Ne Ressort and the Third Memory/Only For The Sake Of Aching split is the only ones I own and have heard. Oh yeah and their song on the This Is Your Life comp. from Ape Must Not Kill Ape records. I'm guessing old Third Memory was more metal?

    Metal With Good Drumming

Third Memory is great and the drumming is amazing. I don't think he will care for them much though cause he was looking for Metal bands.

    Metal With Good Drumming

Wait, so you mean a drummer that used to be in Slayer did studio session drumming for Saosin? lol That just sounds funny to me.

    Cap'n Jazz (band)

So I was browsing some rock forums a few nights back and someone put up their discography titled "Analphabetapolothology" for download. I had heard of them but not their stuff so I said fuck it and downloaded it. Their music is fucking awesome, it reminds me of a not so weird and earlier...

    Protest The Hero

Not bad from what I heard on their myspace. I like concept albums a lot too usually. I'll have to check them out more later.

    Wolfmother?

Mike Patton doesn't like Wolfmother so neither do I! Just kidding. I thought they were kind of cool when they first came out but then they got old to me really fast (kind of like Jet.) They are one of those bands that if you like one of their songs you will more than likely like all their...

Your Top Albums of 2006 [revisited] (Non Rap)

Good shit Redstorm. The Melvins are great and they have a shit load of work. I'd recommened picking up just Houdini first and then if you like it pick up A Live History of Gluttony and Lust seeing it's just the same album live. They played in Seattle on New Years eve and I wanted to go hella...

Your Top Albums of 2006 [revisited] (Non Rap)

I liked (A) Senile Animal quite a bit. I wouldn't say it's their best release but it's solid none the less. I think Jared and Coady from Big Business were great choices for drums and bass on the album. I hope they work with them more. Did you check out A Live History of Gluttony and Lust...

    Anyone else like Talking Heads?

I'll make sure to swoop that up. How is the quality of their live albums?

    Anyone else like Talking Heads?

I just recently got into their stuff about two or three months ago. A lot of it's really out there but it's dope to me. I was able to pick up their box set "Brick" used for $32.00 after using a $17.99 stamp card at my local music store (it usually goes for like $130.00+ brand new) a few days...

Anyone ever heard of Shalabi Effect?

I was browsing wikipedia and I noticed members of this band are part of Valley of the Giants whos self titled release that came out in 04 I liked a lot. Anyone ever heard their stuff? How is it? Who would you compare it to? Here is their Wikipedia page, they seem to have four albums released...

Do Make Say Think - You, You're a History in Rust (02/26/07)

Hell yes the new Do Make Say Think drops on Feb. 26th in the US. I been waiting on this album for a minute now. I guess it is going to feature some vocals, which is a first, but it's not any of the members singing. Do Make Say Think - You, You're a History in Rust...

    @ SMURF

Abandon Your Friends is by far their weakest album. It's okay IMO, nothing special. My favorite FATA album is Too Bad You're Beautiful. That album is amazing and I can listen to it all the way through. The Fiction We Live is really, really good too. Although I like Too Bad... better I can...
