Give me a few and I'll list some albums you should make sure to download/buy.
Above by Mad Season is a classic CD Jae. You are going to fucking love it.
The Melvins, Mother Love Bone and Mud Honey are two of my favorite bands ever.
Mother Love Bone would have been one of the biggest Grunge bands if Andrew hadn't died IMO. Apple is such a great fucking album.
Tad is...
Yeah I was reading abou the re-realse on the Equal Vision website. I'll be picking it up for sure. It's funny I didn't care for Chiodos at all when I first heard them but I like the quite a bit now.
By the way you were asking about The Blood Brothers in this thread then I know you said you...
Alright I picked it up on Monday night at midnight and I have to say that this album is well beyond my expectations. I think I like this better then Hot Fuss which I think is a great fucking album. This isn't an album where you are going to be like that was some amazing guitar work or the...
You soppy bastard! lol Just kidding.
No problem at all. I learn a lot from this forum myself. Some of my new(er) favorite bands I have found out about from Smurf (A Star Impaled), Syk0tic and B-Buzz. So I'd like to say thanks too.
What makes this forum great IMO is people are pretty open in...
^^^ If you are feeling it a lot you should really check out Casey's (The Dear Hunter) old group The Receiving End of Sirens. They have one full length out called "Between the Heart and the Synapse" and it's a great album from front to back...not a single song that I skip over...
I didn't order it...but they had it at Easy Street records here in Seattle (they get more or less everything.) It's a really solid EP. Casey lays down some very nice vocals and there really isn't a song I don't like on the EP. 1878 is a great fucking song. Either that or The Pimp & The...

Grenade Posse's album "Makin' Plenty Power Moves" was really dope IMO. It was produced by Blackout and featured Playa Fly and Gangsta Blac among others. SS Boy had spits too. I always thought they were from Arkansas and just linked...
Damn where the fuck have you been Psilo? I haven't seen you post in a second.
I tried getting into Jack Johnson and just couldn't. I mean his music isn't bad and I like acoustic stuff...but I just wasn't feeling it overall.
That was so fucking 80's lol.
It was dope though. It would have been better if it was just the guitar though and not all the other music.
-Off topic-
I have been meaning to ask you Syk0tic who is the painted up guy in your sig? Dude looks weird as fuck lol.
Ummm I'm never good at catagorizing rock into the proper sub genres. But I'd say... especially on the new album..it is a mix of experimental, post-hardcore and metalcore with a little electronic thrown in. I really can't think of anyone they sound like.
