Anyone over the age of 12 still listen to punk?

Misfits "Walk Among Us" is a classic. Did any of you guys like Samhain? "November-Coming-Fire" is a really good album IMO.

Chris Pennie is going to be drumming in Co&Ca now? So is he leaving Dillinger Escape Plan because that would be kind of weird with him being a co-founder of the band and all. Chris is a great fucking drummer, I'd like him to stay with Dillinger Escape Plan though (I like them better sorry Buzz.)

Yeah Rush has a ton of work. I like some of their stuff as well but I'm not a huge fan.

Haha... Oh yeah and if you like Co&Ca you should try the legendary progressive band Rush. You could kind of say that Co&Ca is the modern day version of Rush.

Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness. I just recently started to like them. I used to not be able to stand Claudio's voice at all but now I like it, although it still does get on my nerves sometimes. I think I like the actual instrument music...

Request: Metalcore, Post-Hardcore, Grindcore bands with female vocalists...

Circle Takes the Square has both a male and female vocalist. I'm really drawing a blank right now because that's the only one I can think of.

    Deftones - Saturday Night Wrist

Any Deftones fans pick this up? What are your thoughts on it? I know there is a lot of people in here that don't like the Deftones so just skip this thread if you don't because I want to know what fans of them think about the new album. No need for the "they suck" etc, etc. I think it's...

    depeche mode...

Emo actually started in the mid 80's in Washington DC as a break off of the hardcore scene out there. But it was actually good music unlike 95% of these "Emo" bands today which aren't even really Emo if you get right down to it.

Brand New- The Devil & God Are Raging Inside Me

So I was able to pick up both Deja Entendu and Your Favorite Weapon used for the combined total of $12 and some change. I have listened to Deja Entendu all the way through twice and then to the songs I liked a lot a few more times each. Great album. While there are a couple low points on the...

    Early grunge...

I totally feel what you are saying about the over saturation of music...especially in Rap...both mainstream and underground IMO. I mostly listen to Rock and Oldies these days. There are a lot of really good new Rock groups out there though IMO. Not many new comers keep me interested in Rap...

    Early grunge...

My guess would be over 1,250+ albums and about 300 tapes. Actual albums...I collect music. I have quite a bit of Vinyl too but I don't really collect Vinyl except for Vinyl only releases and limited presses, etc. I have been collecting since I was about 12yrs old so that's almost 15yrs. I...

    Early grunge...

Damn, now you had me looking through my grunge tapes/CDs section lol. A few bands you might not have heard of that you should check out are... Seaweed - "Weak" Seaweed were from Tacoma. I don't know how I forgot about them. "Weak" is their best but "Despised" and "Four" are really solid too...
