If I lived in Texas I'd go to this. It looks like they're coming to San Jose in August though, so I'll try to go then, pretty much only for Amon Amarth. Suicidal Tendencies and Gwar might be cool too.
Because genres are defined by their style of play moreso than lyrical content, and style of music really has nothing to do with Christianity because the religion is about ideas.
Though lyrical themes may help define a genre, they are not the end-all definition.
Sounded interesting to me, too. Here's a link to the album..I'm downloading right now.

Prince Jammy/King Jammy (same person)
I-Roy
Royals (excellent)
I might upload some tracks and/or albums today seeing that I have absolutely NOTHING...
Mariner's Revenge is great..one of their more entertaining songs. I love their storytelling. I got Picaresque from the homie the other day, too...
@Nuttkase..I'll check some of those bands out when I get a chance (Finals week :dead:)
Anybody like them? It's pretty much the only band besides Modest Mouse I hear my homie listen to and I've been liking them more and more. He just burned me the album "Castaways and Cutouts" and it's pretty decent. I think they have very interesting, playful lyrics.
Any fans or opinions?
lmao @"It smells like the art teacher's office"
anybody seen the end of that episode when Homer and Otto are staring at their hands? "They call them fingers, but I've never seen them fing."
Unfortunately, Machine Head is about their only album worth picking up. They have some other stuff, but Machine Head is as good as Deep Purple ever was.
EDIT: Made in Japan is dope, too. But that's basically Machine Head live.
My homie asked me this question the other day, and I didn't have an answer.
Say a pitcher has got the first 26 batters out and he has two strikes on the last one. If he strikes him out, but the catcher drops the ball and the batter makes it to first, is it a perfect game still? Doesn't it count...
Today is the release date for the new Moonsorrow. Got mine in the mail today. You can order it from The End Records website for 10.99, which includes free shipping.
Just a friendly reminder in case anyone gives a fuck :)
