That's kind of low income everywhere now days. That's why there's such an issue with the wage gap and everybody is freaking out about the middle class disappearing.

Most of society has just kind of either given up or aren't educated on the fact that costs of every sector has gone up hundreds of percent meanwhile their income hasn't gone up at all.

For example if minimum wage actually rose along with inflation like it was supposed to, minimum wage would be like $22 an hour right now lol

People just kind of accept a mundane life or aren't educated on the fact they're supposed to be doing a lot better.

I remember reading a few months ago a writer was comparing life as a factory worker in the 1970's compared to life at the same exact factory in 2015. I don't remember where the factory was, I think it was Wisconsin. Shit was insane though.

It talked about how somebody at that factory in the 70's could support a large family, pay a mortgage on a house, have two cars in the drive way, take their yearly family vacation and still have a savings account and put away for retirement. In 2015 a worker at the same factory when put up against current cost of living could support themselves, have a small apartment and maybe a car. If they had to support a family and a mortgage they were living near the poverty line and there was no way they could support a savings account or a retirement fund.

My new plan is to marry a girl with low self confidence and a high paying job and control her mind, maybe emotionally abuse her (and when I say maybe it's like a 85% chance)
It ain't even really you needing to get your shit together. Society is kind of set up now to where only a certain small % of the population is able to push through the cracks and really "succeed".

Take the IT field for example. Now days somebody with a Computer Science or Information Technology bachelor's degree and a bunch of certifications might be able to break in to a help desk job paying $15 an hour if they're lucky (in most cities, I know theres a lot of Bay Area cats here where IT jobs flow like water lol)
