CZAR @CZAR we will never know... but one thing is for sure is what Floyd is doing, and that's bringing up Manny to attract attention. NOT to call him out cuz he's too chickenshit to do that.

Someone asked this question on Twitter a few weeks ago... If they retired today, who was better, Manny or Floyd?

To me it's easy. Manny in terms of accomplishment, Floyd in terms of skill. Having said that, shame on Floyd for not challenging himself more. He's not done yet, but if you can discredit him for anything when comparing him to Manny, it was opponent selection

Just more bs from u as usual. What else could we expect.

Also Floyd is a much greater fighter than Manny and legacy wise its not close. Manny just being put to sleep by Marquez is what I remember most about Manny LMAO! Got Em!!

There is a pretty big argument that Pacquiao accomplished more as far as legacy goes. More weight classes, beat Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Cotto. Took more risks. Floyd has a good resume too not great and of course undefeated. Tough call.
I was watching that No Mas 30 for 30 and they talked about how Duran was embarrassed by Leonard, and knocked out by Hearns something awful. He also lost to Hagler. Yet he's still in the top 10 all time by most historians standards. I think that's what Pacquiao's legacy will be. Not top 10, but his losses simply will not define him. There's no way to know, but as it stands, I think historians will still knock Floyd for not taking more risks.

Also punished a much larger Margarito. A Margarito that people wanted Floyd to fight but he never did.

Shit you acting like Manny was the first to be put to sleep. Roy Jones was on God mode his entire career until he was about Manny's age (one year older) then was put to sleep by Tarver. Then Johnson. Then everyone and their mama. But that doesn't take way from Jones' legacy, winning titles from MW to HW. And countless other fighter's.

Only beef I have with Manny's legacy Is the "8th" weight class title... That was bull shit man... That andhim winning the 140lb strap then not defending it... Oh and then all the "catch weight championship fights..... Oh and then not fighting FLOYd....

I do think losing and being ko'd does hurt your legacy. We look at everything. Doesnt mean great fighters that were ko'd arent still considered great but lets say if Manny never got ko'd and never lost he would be considered way higher than he is now. Just like if Floyd loses or gets ko'd it will tarnish his untouchable rep. The good thing about Floyd is the longer he goes he is approaching ages where most fighters are considered past their prime so if he loses some will just say awe he was past his prime so it may not hurt him much if say he lost 5 years ago at like age 32. Everything is considered and it all counts toward ones legacy good or bad. Got Em!!

That is true. The older Floyd is, the less it hurts him if he gets KO'd or something. Not to mention as he zeroes in on that 49-0 mark which seems to be cursed. I still think it's amazing that Floyd has never been robbed in a decision. He's been pretty fortunate thus far in his career for that to happen. Some fighters get robbed multiple times with way less fights.

Word on the street is that behind the scene they are working the Mayweather vs. Manny fight. That is why you are seeing the trash talking and both guys have not announced who they fighting.

Won't get happy until contracts are signed.

word on the street is non-sense lol We've heard so many times they were negotiating this.

I thought of an idea... Have HBO and Showtime both host the fight. TR can handle everything regarding the HBO promotion but Floyd has to agree to be on 2 24/7 episodes. GB handles everything on the Showtime and gets 2 all access episodes. Then let the fans decide if they order the PPV on Showtime or HBO and split the money that way.
