Got smoked by some Asian lady screaming for help. I ran over to her and some ese came around the corner with a shottie, I had just got arrested didn't have no ammo lol

Props cuz I don't have the balls to do it lol. I wouldn't mind creating a 2nd character to play with just to fuck around on there but IDK if it'll remove my first guy or not.
Lemme know how that shit works out for you. I got invites last night while signed in and it was hard as fuck to resist so I threw in madden 13 lol.

OK SO, I think I figured out how to not lose your character if you make a new one. All you do is make sure that when you quit playing, you press pause and go to ONLINE and choose Leave GTA Online. I tried it just now before I started getting hella deep into making a new dude and it took me back to single player, I quit the game entirely and when I turned it on just now I pressed down on the dpad chose my online dude and it brought me right back to where I was at, even in the same car and same street I was cruising on. I dunno if anyone will try it again like me, but I'm pretty sure thats how you save your progress FOR SURE. Rockstar are the ones that told me to do that on their update site. it says:

Note: When exiting GTA Online, please pause the game and choose to return to Single Player. This will trigger a save and ensure that progress since the last auto-save is recorded. If you purchase items and immediately power the console off or exit through console system menus, those items may not be saved.

^^Yeah thats what I was doing Friday and Saturday with my 3rd character. Every mission or 2 I'd leave gta online and go back to single player. Then come back and do more dirt. Still worried about being kicked off. That's why I asked you back when you lost your guy if you had signed off or it booted you off. I was hoping I was onto somethin there cuz if it kicks you offline and you still have all your progress I'd be playing online asap knowing I'm good as long as I save it every few minutes.

oh and for ppl who are still playing single player, you can buy a los santos customs in the boonies, and you can bring any car to that specific shop and mod it for free. i wasted hundreds of thousands on various mods before i realized that lol

So I was told that if I bought any property under $200,000 that I couldn't use it for the heist.....I bought my first apartment for like 128,000 BUT what I like is that I'm able to trade in my apartment for the higher end place once I save up enough money to cover the difference (I.e. U CAN SELL ur property) the only down fall is once u buy it the value is @ like half......anyway finally bought the 200,000 + unit....it's huuuuge!!!
And I got a "heist room"

I don't get all this talk about online. Like what do you do? Can anyone do a simple explanation? Maybe it'll get me to sign on and see what it's about

Gta 4 all you did was ride around and shit. Seems like there's more to this online?

Can you do home invasions?
