Stephen Curry, Tyreke Evans and Brandon Jennings are joined by Darren Collison and Taj Gibson on the All-Rookie Team.
The second team is made up of DeJuan Blair, James Harden, Jonas Jerebko, Jonny Flynn and Marcus Thornton. No surprises really, although this is just another example of how ridiculous it was that Blair fell so far into Round 2 in the draft.

its not ridiculous at all, Blair has no acl's, literally. now thats whats ridiculous, and if he lasts more than 4 years, then thats even more ridiculous.

he's lucky to have been drafted at all, and making the NBA 2nd rookie team isnt THAT much of an accomplishment, especially in a draft weak on big men.

congrats on beating blake griffin that missed the entire year? congrats on beating hasheem thabust? congrats on beating half year injured psycho t?

funny (stupid) how that writer mentioned Blair being a 2nd rounder but not Jonas Jerebko or Marcus Thornton.

dejuan blair has everything that every team wants in a PF. Size, length, strength, rebounding, defense and a knack for making plays.

its no suprise he got drafted and should of went way higher then he did. there was a team that was going to trade up to get him in the 2nd round and they thought he would still fall further then he did but he got picked.

and its a big deal for someoen in the 2nd round picked around 38th overall to be at the end of the year a top 10 rookie. thats a big leap forward.

only thing is his durability which he could be a 10 year player or a 2 year player, only time will tell

saw this a couple days ago...

As expected, Warriors swingman Kelenna Azubuike picked up his $3.3 million player option for next season.
Azubuike averaged 14.4 points and shot 45% from downtown in 2008-09, but played just nine games in 09-10 because of a terrible knee injury. He should be 100% at some point next season, but his role is still tethered to Nellie's rotations.

The Warriors plan to have Stephen Curry play in a few summer league games before leaving to train with Team USA.
They also anticipate having anticipating having Reggie Williams, Brandan Wright (shoulder), and even Anthony Randolph (ankle). Randolph isn't required to play but probably will if he's deemed healthy enough.

ok...so i thought Raja Bell said he wanted to re-sign with the warriors...guess not.

Impending unrestricted free agent Raja Bell said his first choice is to join the Heat.
Bell went to Florida International University and considers the Heat his hometown team. He'd be a decent addition as a defensive stopper and 3-point shooter, but the Heat really need another legit scorer to take the pressure off fellow free agent Dwyane Wade.

Kelenna Azubuike had surgery on his right knee Wednesday to address patella tendinitis.
He'll be on crutches for a week and then start rehab, meaning he should be ready for the start of training camp.

Ronny Turiaf will miss the world Championships due to his lingering knee injury that limited him throughout much of the regular season.
He'll join Tony Parker on the sidelines for France and it's possible he'll need to have surgery.

Source: Warriors fielding offers Monday
ESPN.com news services

The Golden State Warriors will begin accepting bids on the franchise starting Monday, and four or five groups are expected to make offers at some point, a league source told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher on Sunday.

Larry Ellison
Oracle CEO Larry Ellison told financial analysts in January he was trying to buy the Warriors.

In March, Golden State hired Galatioto Sports Partners to handle selling the franchise and serve as their exclusive financial adviser throughout the process.

Oracle Corp. CEO Larry Ellison has already made it well known he wants to buy the team.

The Warriors' struggles on the court -- they finished this season well out of the playoffs at 26-56 -- have been compounded by current owner Chris Cohan's financial problems.

In 2007, the Internal Revenue Service said Cohan owed more than $160 million in back income taxes and penalties from the 1998 sale of a cable television company.

The Warriors announced across-the-board discounts for season ticket holders for next season in March.

Ellison told financial analysts in late January he was trying to buy the team but said, "unfortunately you can't have a hostile takeover of a basketball team."

Though the Warriors have said they wouldn't comment further until an agreement or transaction with a buyer is reached, team president Robert Rowell has said he's committed to fielding a competitive team.

And coach Don Nelson and general manager Larry Riley have hinted their young players will be all the better with a year's more experience.
