Incorrect. The word "if" was the first word used in the post. The entire post is a compare and contrast in which I am saying that people who have nothing to do with this, and who you are not angry with, are being robbed and looted and they shouldn't be.

Saying or suggesting that you target or focus your energy on the person or entity that wronged you or that you feel wronged you is not advocacy or taking sides.

If you think they did it bring it to their porch but leave the innocents out of it.

The above was clearly articulated in my initial post so stop misconstruing my words.

The Real Reason Ferguson Has Military Weapons
08/19/2014
By Kara Dansky, Senior Counsel, ACLU Center for Justice at 11:34am

This piece was originally published on CNN.com.

It used to be billy clubs, fire hoses and snarling German shepherds. Now it's armored personnel carriers and flash-bang grenades. The weaponry has changed, but the target is still the same.

If some of the photos from Ferguson last week were in black and white, you might confuse them with scenes from the 1950s south. White police officers beating black protestors. Young black men lying face down in the street with police officers standing over them with assault rifles.

We have a long history of aggressively policing communities of color in America. Police have treated black and brown people like the enemy for decades. In that context, the recent events in Ferguson in the wake of Michael Brown's shooting come as no surprise. But they go way beyond Ferguson.

What we're witnessing is the militarization of policing, and it has become commonplace in towns across America.

Every year, the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security and Justice funnel billions' worth of dollars and military equipment to state and local law enforcement agencies to help them amass arsenals of combat-ready weaponry, according to our report "War Comes Home: The Excessive Militarization of American Policing."

Notice how all these photos are taken at night. Its because there is a curfew, and these people are rioters. My god you are probably the dumbest person on siccness. Whats wrong with your brain? Is it alcoholism, meth addiction, opiate addiction? You don't have the ability to think clearly and you take outstanding leaps of logic to believe this sensationalistic bullshit every single time

You probably were abducted by aliens too right?

I think you might be wrong about the curfew.. I was watching live last night, around midnight and they had specifically said that there was not a curfew. Just trying to move everyone out of the area.

Backwards ass shitty missouri shouldve had dash cams and all this would be solved by now.

And if michael brown tried to take the officer's gun and the ensuing struggle got him shot. How can you explain 2 to the head? Plus the other 5. How can you explain why the officer has no blood on him?

And most importantly why have they not done the swab test? If he was fighting for a gun he should have residue from the primer on his hands. Gunshot residue can travel over 3 feet, that evidence could completely corroborate or disprove the officer's account of events.

police and officers to the court need to be 100% to the constitution , I dont think im getting my point across here right, when somebody is in a position of power, its the worst when they abuse it, like a teacher that fucks a bunch of kids cause he has there trust, get my point?

Yes now I see your point and I agree.

BUTCHER even if the kill was a 100% legit and legal, do you honestly agree with the response to the protesters?

I don't agree with the police response to the protestors, but I do find it ironic and/or demoralizing that when the protestors gravitate closer to riots its the same police people call to protect them.

I mean as a small business owner in Ferguson (who may very well be critical of the police response), what are you gonna do when a rioting mob is enclosing on your business? Fight off hundreds of people and possible get caught up in a murder case yourself? Let them destroy the business you have spent years building?

It would be a tough scenario.

When anything involving race happens anywhere, you can be sure that Reverend Jesse Jackson will make it there.

Naturally, with a black man being shot in Ferguson, Missouri, he shows up. But this time, the Reverend didn’t quite think out his strategy; and when he pulled out his bullhorn, the protesters ran him out of town.

What could have caused a black community to send out the founder of the Rainbow/ PUSH coalition?

How about asking the protesters for donations for his Church?

Perhaps Jackson should have thought a little bit more before being so callous during this sensitive time?

kinda fucked up how, if this is teen got shot/killed on some street shit, jackson/sharpton/and most everyone else wouldn't care, and it wouldn't be 'fuck the police', it'd be 'stop snitching'.

crazy ass country we live in. i still think the USA is the most racially progressive country in the world, ironically enough.

The small businesses should blame the city for not arresting and charging that pig for murder.

Different scenario. A teen wouldn't get shot up 6 times in broad daylight in the middle of a street with hella witnesses pointing the finger at the killer and the killer walks a free man.
