hell is u serious?? yuk has a bigger following than short?? u must be smoking. short is still relevent, shit jive released this album with no promo/video & it did poor/decent numbers considering it was his last album. short has sold waaaaaaaaaaaay more cds than yuk. numerous gold/plat plaques. comon get your facts str8. put it like this: TOO SHORT & 40 WATER STILL HAVE THE BIGGEST FAN BASE IN THE BAY. numbers dont lie....

Yuk has a large following, but it is no where near Too $hort's following, first of all in the Bay, then in the South, and then nationwide and worldwide. Too $hort is a legend and a hip-hop pioneer. Yes Yuk is a great artist and has had platinum success with one of the biggest singles ever in rap music, but he is not even close to touching Too $hort. and $hort's new album didn't do numbers because there was no promo or push behind it, $hort aint even promoting it himself, neither he nor jive give a fuck about that album, it's just a contract finisher.

really tho...you a little off for that one mane....ppl know about too short everywhere worlwide mane....ppl know bout too short in japan matterfact my cousins in punjab know bout too short and had some of his songs downloaded on they phones(i was fuck'n surprised)...

either way cant wait for this shit to drop....MDMP been long overdue and i hope it lives up to the hype....

well i doubt those 20k fans of yuk will actually buy the album when it drops in feb. i dont see him doing good sales. myb 10k at the most the first week. heres an example: trae's "life goes on" album on rapalot he had several buzzing singles with big name artist/producers. rapalot didnt give him no video or promo push. the fist week sales came about 7k-8k if im correct. get soundscan when it came out for the first week sales. i believe yuk will do around that range or less. myb 10k will buy it because of online/word of mouth promo. the other 10 prolly wont know its out.
