I think he was referring to NON rap albums, since this is the NON rap forum, but what do I know.

Right now, its Incubus for me, followed by Deftones.

I just got this, awesome record. Do you have their Love,Love,Love,Love album? Is it any good?
All of ATAL albums are really good IMO. I don't know of a Love... album though. They have the s/t, Blood and Aphorisms (EP) and Lafcadio. I like the new one a lot too but Lafcadio is my favorite.

lol

Nuttkase, post up some post-rock bands. I've been trying to get into the genre because I like it's "ideas", but can't find anything that suits me well. So far I've heard Mogwai (sp?), Exlosions in the Sky, and one other whose name slips me right now. They're good, but I'm looking for something a little darker and more organic.

As always, this extends to anyone who can help.

You will prob. dig Pelican Redstorm. It's more Metal than the others.

My favorite Post-Rock bands minus the ones already mentioned are...

Red Sparowes
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
A Silver Mt. Zion
Gregor Samsa
Mono (the one from Japan)
Of Sinking Ships (there are a few bands named this)
The Sea, Like Lead
Valley of the Giants
Yndi Halda
Because of Ghosts
Neil On Impression

If you are looking for heavier/darker people are starting to call some Post-Rock bands Post-Metal because of their more metal influences...try..

Cult of Luna
Isis
Russian Circles
Mouth of the Architect

Damn I forgot about Dirty Three and Do Make Say Think. Great fucking bands. Never heard of the other ones...off to scour the internet for songs by them lol.

On a side note aren't members of Do Make Say Think in Broken Social Scene?
