well ill just toss in my .02..im 23 now, so when i was beginning in high school (1998), thats when wrestling was beginning to really get hot, and it was alot of fun to watch..cats runnin around school doin the dx chop and whatnot, and it was hilarious..what was most entertaining was how guys like austin, hhh, the rock, jericho, etc were able to say what they wanted, and not follow a script..
fast forward to 2007..wrestling has gotten stale, with the brand extensions, too many ppv's, retirements, and smackdown (other than undertaker) has gotten so unwatchable its ridiculous, and so on..but one of the worst problems is the mic skills; nobody seems to have them anymore. if u watch raw and smackdown, LITERALLY every person will hop on the mic and say "Im so and so, and im the toughest guy here" or a chick will say "im the most dominant diva in the wwe," like, am i supposed to give u a cookie? is this 3rd grade? people like austin and the rock made their name cuz they were so creative in their insults, not running around telling people that they were the meanest..
man how i miss the wwf-wCw wars of the 90's..*sigh*
