violence is the only thing humans understand, wether it's watching innocents being assaulted with mass violence (Vietnam, Civil Rights movement, 9/11, etc.) to usher them out of their complacency to do something, or if its the people who were fucked over reacting violently to usher people out of their complacency (read about Nat Turner and John Brown and how their uprisings changed the course of American slavery indefinitely). Saying that I don't think people should destroy fellow citizens shit, but I have no problem with a riot. Cuz the communities aren't really communities, they don't have social capital, civic programs, a proper law enforcement, businesses or other things you need to make a proper functioning community -they are ghettos that poor people have been systematically relegated to for decades -that they now feel okay with, hence the inward violence.
