Stats don't even begin to tell the story on Roy's impact on the game.

Why are yall arguing with a Blazer fan?? Its obvious that B.D. is much better cause only Blazer fans are sayin otherwise and all the neutral folks or people that are fans of other teams are sayin Baron is so the discussion is done!! Baron hands down!! Got Em!!

I'm tired of goin back and forth about this. I like both teams and both players. Both are fun to watch and are the heart and soul of their teams. But if I'm building a team, I take Roy over Davis 10 out of 10 times.
even if both were the same age? if u say yea still i feel u either lying or ur pick is tainted because roy plays for ur team. that would be understandable to like the person on ur team better because u see more of them like me with KG. was never really liked alot until he cam here and realized the passion he plays with and made me like him alot.

Baron Davis is better in some aspects, and Roy in others. Roy is a smarter ball player IMO...but Baron has more experience on his side. Both players are the QB of their team. I think Baron's ability to score is a bit better and he can create more than Roy can AT THIS POINT.

However, defesnfively, I take Baron only becuse he has faced all these guys for some years...while Roy has only seen them a handful of times in a year and a half.

BUT, Roy, in the end, will be better than Baron defensively, as he has more tools and is a defensive specialist...always has been.

Baron Davis at age 23
17.1 pts, 3.7 reb,6.4 ast,.4 blk, 1.8 stl, 2.8 turn,.350 3p%,.710 FT%,.416FG%

Brandon Roy at age 23 (so far)
19.4 pts, 4.4 reb, 5.6 ast,.2 blk, .9 stl,1.91 turn,.341 3p%,.786 FT%,.460FG%

I take Roy. Slightly less assists, 1 less steal and a tiny bit less blocks than Davis, but more scoring and rebounding, less turnovers, roughly the same 3pt %, higher FT and overall FG%. Plus Roy can play 3 postitions. Davis can play 2.

i am not saying that at all. i'm sayin if B-Diddy was doing what he's doing now at roy's age then anyone besides maybe blazer fans would take him. and that whole when he was 23 shit is stupid if u ask me cause the league has changed ALOT and is waaaay more watered down then when b-diddy was that age and who's to say roy does what diddy's doing at this age? it's just stupid to throw that in the mix

LOL damn. Ok IF Davis was only 23 right now then yes, you take Davis, but Davis is far removed from 23 right now. He's a seasoned vet so if his numbers SHOULD be higher. It is EXTREMELY rare that a guy at 23 has those types of numbers. Its not stupid to compare age 23 stats because that should illustrate how comparable the two actually are. And even now, Davis is not all that far ahead of Roy.
