not really. thats like saying that the lakers should be the number 1 team cause they got Kobe or some shit. i like Roy but Baron IMO is better in almost every aspect of the game. i think he's better defensively and offensively but not by much, but thats my opinion

Ok, bad example on my part. The way I look at it is like this though. Roy is the leader of the most overachieving team this year. Davis might put up better numbers, but he's the leader of a slightly underachieving team. Don't get me wrong, Baron is a great player too, but I wouldn't trade Roy for him. I doubt Portland would be doing the things they are doing with Davis instead of Roy. I'm probably digging myself into a hole here...fuck it though, I like both of em and hope they both make it.

it aint digging a hole really cause there both very good players and ur obviously gonna like the roy better cause he reps ur squad but the warriors are the same way with baron as ur blazers are with roy. it's just all opinions if u ask me

^^yeah i agree...

and i wasn't really disputing what mannish said about roy being better than baron. i mean everyone is gonna have their opinion and that's fine. the logic that the warriors should be more than a half game ahead of the blazers was where my argument came in. but they're both great players and it would be nice if they could both make it. fact is though there's just too many talented players and not enough spots.

^^to build a team around then yes only because of his age though. if i had to build a team to be a contender right then and there i would take baron simply cause he's better in my opinion. i would take bradon over alot of the better ones out there simply cause of his age.
