CD has a few knocks but most of it is quite weak IMO, especially for someone whose been out of the game so long to throw a cd of just 12 tracks and only 47 minutes together with many weak beats and raps not near as tight as the KVE days.

I heard the album and every track on there is pretty much from something else. He pretty much took features he did for folks and crammed them into a 12 track album. That bizzy and droop track is off bizzys album produced by playalitacal. Along with the song feating playalitacal which is off playalitacals album. I honestly cant call this new material as alot of shit I have heard already from comps. Also a real album has more than one verse on each track from the main artist whos album it is. If you peep every track droop is only on one verse out of every song. Thats even a dead give away. His strongest shit on the cd by far was Kongradulate me. He actually had two verses in that song. Also the slowed down flows on every track just killed it. HE has the voice still dont get me wrong but he sounds tighter with fast spits. All in all its a "alright" cd if you havent followed his collabos in the last 5 years. I for one have followed them and you heard he was in tha 206 seattle workin with SYKO for that government album. Then you heard he was workin with IROCC on that FREEDOM OF SPEACH album. Then you heard he was fuckin with playalitical on his album and then he shows up on bizzys album. Now take that info and look at the features on this cd lol. all he did was take say "Bizzy bone ft Young Droop" and change it too "Young Droop ft bizzy bone" lol man o man anyone get the point? lol I hope it aint another 10yrs before we see a new cd from droop cause I am sorry I can not qualify this as a new cd. Alot of the songs you can even hear him callin out "two double O 6" for 2006 as the year he recorded it lol.

It seems kinda funny how the same cats always show up in a droop thread to be super analytical about his material. I know for one speakin to him about all of this recorded material and hearing it a while back, what his intentions were. This takes me back to the days of his instore signing and so many people showing up to hate. I know it comes with the territory. I know all the replies will be that he hasn't dropped in a while etc... But he has been busy all the while droppin verses for cats. To his credit I have sat him down and let him read all the replies of negativity everyone would have on this forum and he would just blow it off. This project was not meant to suprise everyone as the long awaited solo from droop, but just something for cats who havent heard from him in a while. I think it's difficult for any artist to evole and experiment because they're always pigeonholed to their first project. If it's not the exact duplicate, no matter how many years it's not accepted. It's a catch 22 situation, he got tired of people complainin that he rapped too fast all the time so he slowed it down. Now he slowed it down I like it better when he spits fast. And some cats go overboard with the hate, I can understand being critical of someone and thier work. But I know some just take it to the next level. And make it personal, with all the unecessary extra commentary.

Well said,But somtimes ones commentary isn't as unecessary through anothers eyes as it is yours.
Eye gotta say the man has some good reflection with his opinion and I agree with alot he has said.
A comeback album my not be what he was goin for but its been 7 years so thats what it looks like from the outside.
Ya know if it aint broke dont fix it,your gunna have critisizm no matter what, but he blew up rappin fast and rappin gangbangin...and for him to drop this SLOP after his brilliant past was a real dissapointment.
p.s. Hopefully you also showed him the thousend of threads sayin how gr8 he is and not just tried to make everyone look like a hater
