dont mean to disrespect anyone whos christian.. but they try and brainwash you and persuade you heavily into their religion and if you do something thats considered bad and youre going to hell. Party and go to hell, if you smoke youll go to hell.. this one chick is exactly like that with one of my homies.. he drinks, smokes everyday and she says hes going to hell because of that.

what bible do you read out of baptised or go to hell oay your tithe go to hell ?
WTF...

i never go to church.
dumbass fairy tales is all it is.... I think the bible is full of solid morals on how to live an honorable life, but instead of focusing on that, people just focus on Jesus/God and misconstrue the whole thing. I take everything I read with a grain of salt, mainly because not everything you read is true. I mean people literally worship the bible, and place their faith in it because "it was written thousands of years ago." Wow, so that means that you'll believe a story about some guy named Moses splitting the sea in half just because it was written about over 2,000 years ago? Sounds like a pretty stupid reason to me.

I'm not shitting on religion, so don't get your panties in a bunch. All I'm dong is throwing my two cents in the ring on it; at the end of the day if you feel like going to church makes you a better person, then by all means go to it.

Just don't try and preach to me, I hate that shit.
Yup

When i still lived wit my moms I went every sunday. I've noticed a lot of Korean moms that do the whole church thing get hella crazy wit it. I've been to 4 different Korean churches, and had relations with a bunch more too, and noticed that they all the same too. The kids go just to kick it or meet girls, and the retreats we go on be gettin hella crazy. It's always drama too, even amongst the congregation. I think every church I've ever heard of has either started by breaking off another church, or has lost over half its membership cuz they broke off and started their own church, 2 or 3 times even.

On that note, when I'm in town I'll stop by church to say wsup to ppl I know, but I don't really fucks wit it.

Once a devout Christian died briefly on the operating table after an accident. Expected heaven, but found nothing.

No God. No heaven. No afterlife. None of what had been promised for living a devout life. Just a void.

That would suck if there's just a void after death.

I know there's a chance that we share the same fate as dead animals and bugs... It'd be nice if its not void though

I would say I haven't gone to a regular service like in 3 years. Last time was either Christmas or Easter. But I have gone to a couple of weddings and Quinceañeras services lately.

I get destracted by all the bitches in there. There's always some fine ass bitches in church. Usually milfs, but fuck it. Looking at ass in front of me and titties. I sin if I go. lol Right now is summer time too, so bitches be wearing less or wearing light trasparent shit. So I'd get too horny.

dunno if you mean something like this, but..

In Roman Catholic Christianity, purgatory is the condition, process, or place of purification or temporary punishment in which the souls of those who die in a state of grace are made ready for heaven.[1]
Some other Christian denominations also assert the possibility of an improvement in the soul's spiritual situation following death. The Eastern Orthodox Church believes in the possibility of a change of situation for the souls of the dead through the prayers of the living and the offering of the Divine Liturgy,[2] and many Orthodox, especially among ascetics, hope and pray for a general apocatastasis[3]A similar belief in at least the possibility of a final salvation for all is held by Mormonism.[4] Moreover Judaism also believes in the possibility of after-death purification[5] and may even use the word "purgatory" to present its understanding of the meaning of Gehenna.[6] However, the concept of soul "purification" may be explicitly denied in these other faith traditions.
The word "purgatory" is also used, in a non-specific sense, to mean any place or condition of suffering or torment, especially one that is temporary.[7]

That would imply there is something there. Purgatory is a "place", as much as heaven or hell, filled with souls.

A void is an empty expanse filled with nothingness.
" The word "purgatory" is also used, in a non-specific sense, to mean any place or condition of suffering or torment, especially one that is temporary."

bolded that ahead of time....because he said it would "suck" to be in a void...i would consider that torment/suffering...hence the purgatory mention.

i dont really know the word for purgatory in other religious/spiritual sects.

Hell would suck too. Does that not include torment and suffering?

It still has nothing to do with a void other than it isn't one.
