for real i've noticed this shit around my area alot, Teachers being more worried how they gonna discipline or control kids before they even do anything, then actually getting down and helping them and actually do what they get paid to do, i think it all really started a lil after they brought out that bullshit law about parents not being able to spank their children, for real though do yall think this is turning kids against wanting to learn...leave the disciplining to the mom's and pop's.

peep this.....this is how fuckin stupid the administration is at my school.....
for the cheerleaders initiation this year, the seniors made the younger girls go on a scavanger hunt...one of the stops was at a guys house where a group of well known senior were "hanging out". the girls had to ask them for a tampon and then had to explain what it was used for. the administration found out, and gave all the guys and girls a punishment....they have to go to sexual harrassment classes just for asking these girls what a tampon is for....come on now, that's some stupid ass shit...if they aren't mature enough to say it, then they shouldn't be in high school.....but i guess one of the girls or someone snitched and they all got in trouble......but like 90% of the staff thought it was stupid and that they should be in trouble.....and in the school news paper someone wrote letter to the opinions column basically saying the pricipals etc are fucking stupid....only with more depth and better vocabulary.....
sometimes i think the administration hands out punishments just so that they don't look like bitches....and that they are going soft....but there's a point where they need to just chill the fuck out.....and in my opinion, this was one of those situations.....

skool iz a joke .....full of fagget ass people, fun thing bout skool iz how teachers try to act all superior so i just push them as far as i can , im a ass hole to most teachers i look foward to pissin them off, i think some teachers r near a nervous break downs , some i think cry everynight at there home

I think there are a bunch of no brain idiots (and rude) peeps that are running the school district. Because this year the school district have sent out a bunch of letters saying either your child has not yet been placed in a school (kinder) and you have to help us firure out where to place them. Some perants in my daughters school has gotten letters telling them that there child has been assinged to another school on the other side of the city
Also because I am dealing with 2 students myself that have been assaulted by a school security guard and a school counsler (both in different schools) No one from the school district has at the very least apologized and the principal at one of the schools was trying to cover the security guard. Both adults left bruises on the children. But see if I where to spank my daughter and she goes to school and mentions it to the teacher that is my ass even if I don't leave a mark
Some schools are excellent :
Mya daughters school is the best, has one of the highest SARC reports in SFC. Most teachers have been there for over 10 yrs the PTA is there back bone <--- I think that is why this school is so great. Last year SFUSD cut 50K from this school because the kids got high test scores the PTA came up with the 50K plus an additional 25K to hire a liberian (Which was also cut off from the SFUSD)
I work at another school where they send all the shit disturbers, out of 3 counslers only 1 is sane ( but he just started a few months ago) They don't have much of a first aid kit, they spent almost 2 yrs asking for new comps and only got half of them last month (the school yr is alsmot over). Many of these kids have problems this school is supposed to have an onsight therapist, they haven't had one in a few yrs. Half of the 8th grade class isfailing. Most of the water fountains don't work. Most of the display cases are broken, the 2nd flr bathroom have been out of service for over 2 yrs. the after school program is 40k under budget and is being forced to close for the month of august. All employees will only recieve 2 weeks of pay.
Here is the sad part both of these schools are only 7 blocks apart. they are both in a good neighborhood. The school district says they can't help the after school program for the summer and asked them and just about all the other after school programs in the city to shut down for half of the summer. What does this mean: In our case, we have about 500 youth that come in for various programs from the ages of 4-20 what will these kids do for a whole summer while there parents are at work???? I have looked into summer programs most start @ 250 a week. That is why I think the School district is more to blame then the schools But lack of parent involvement can also determine the quality of the school

schools are a bucna bullshit, back in sept. i was giving a big ass project to create my own colony (the teacher said anything goes to create ur own gov't) with a few other class mates, well i did part n i jus split it with the other fools, n we had to present it... i guess one of the other dudes said "we would like to express our freedom in our colony by banning homosexuals from entering". n we got and automatic F because the teachers friend was gay N his friend got beat up for being gay back in the 70's. we got in trouble had to have meetings with the all the teachers and princables in the end we had to sign contracts about somebullshit i forgot what it was, N we kicked outta that class....... oh n get this i recently got suspended because i didnt look the teacher in the eyes when he was talking to me lol oh well .............. its my last year in high school so i could careless
I agree w/ the person who said that discipline is necessary. Discipline is one of the basic principales of life. If U aren't taught it at a young age then the rest of Ur life is just going to be a catch up game. Since many of today parents weren't taught it themselves they have no way of instructing their own kids. Therefore teaching discipline somehow becomes the responsibility of others, like teachers or law enforcement.
I really respect parents who take the time to not only whack their kids when they act up but then explain why it had to be done. Nothing I can't stand more than lazy ass parents. I used to get smacked on by my parents and to be honest it kept my ass in line. It wasn't abuse it was love and devotion.
And yeah schools are fucked up and sure there are TERRIBLE teachers who should never be arounds kids. There is always going to be assholes and red tape (e.i. bussing, tracking, etc.) but there are some super instructors out there. And they dont deserve the grief that they get. There needs to be more respect for teachers and their profession. It's fucken super easy to say the education system sucks and all that, but it takes some real balls to do something to change it.
