THE NEW VIBE MAG????If you haven't yet, check the article "East Coast Rap: WHo Cares?" in the new vibe w/ ashanti on the cover. East coast cats are crying n complaining because the south and mid west are getting a higher percentage of airplay. Thay even are trying to compare they're problem to the west coast not getting love. I can't put into words how many ways this makes me feel. confused? angry? happy there getting a taste of they're own medicine? I'll speak on it later, but I just wanted to see what yall thought about this.

It says also, that the west coast only makes up 2.5 percent of total radio airplay in the US. 2.5!!! the east still makes over 22% or some shit. wow, talk about some shit. At the least its funny to see them actually getting a taste of whats been happenning to the west coast for many, many years.

NOw i aint hating, i love all coasts music, but c'mon

Mainstream is weak as fuck. Everyone who buys that shit is weak as fuck too. Sometimes, I'm kinda glad they mostly play that weak shit on the radio cause I wouldn't want no fake, square-ass wannabe thug listening to the same gangsta shit that I listen to.

Exactly whut Ive already have said I always buy, support, and listen to shit that hardly anyone else listens too. For instance out here in So. cal I always felt like Im the only man out here listenin to tons of music from the Bay and Central Valley and them mainstream actin TRL teeny bop heads be like "Ive never heard of these rappers" or " I dont listen to those type of rappers." "Damn " they all soft as hell all followin all these fake trends and shit while I only listen to that real hard gangsta shit. They hella played out little kids to me...

I was never with the mainstream with the exception of old school rap, and nas & jada, pun & pac. i grew up on this west coast underground, from Raided To Dre, Too Short to C-Bo, so what the fuck do they know? but forever bitin from the west coast, man, real talk.
