People, or niggaz in general hate anybody in the spotlight. Crabs in the bucket. The record buying/downloading public are more concerned with who is cool with who, rappers personal lives, and record sales. Back in the day record buyers could careless what soundscan was or who sold what, if it was hot then its hot. People hate 50 cuz he's a great business man and he's rich...Simple. Who cares if he's an "alleged snitch" or not, if u aint done shit with him for him to tell on u. Who cares about his beef with Yuk? Who cares about Yuk for real(different thred) But as long as u on top, people will dislike u. But I bet if 50 came to the Bay giving out record deals, niggaz would jump right on his dick.
Music is music regardless where an artist is from. But i noticed somethin, real street cats dont trip off that media bullshit cuz they dont make the time to read mags and surf the web cuz they got more important shit to do.
