If Daz is so sick why isn't he the one producing platinum tracks all the time right now? Probably because he didn't do as much shit as he says he did. He's been flappin them gums since he left Tha Row.

Any of you ever wonder why Dr. Dre hasn't had Daz on anything since the Chronic??

who produced arguably the best beats on that album? Granted it's a matter of taste, but you can see how well daz gets down on that shit. If you're questioning his ability, you're out of your zone.

listen to the dogg pound dogg food album, tell me that doesn't sound like "dre" beats. Yeah, they do sound like what you think dre beats would sound like, but they are all DAZ!!!!!! coincidence? nah

as a fan of northern cali rap, you should know as well as I do, just because you are very talented, it doesn't mean you just get put on hit records or even get your chance. Daz being underground doesn't have shit to do with his talent, but if that's the case, tell me why Sean T, JT the bigga figga, EA Ski etc... are still pretty much underground? Oh, that's right... it IS possible for you to be talented as fuck yet get overlooked by the mainstream. REAL TALK

No, I never have wondered why Daz hasn't worked with dre since. I wouldn't work with him either if I was doin all the work, and he was gettin the credit. Make sense to you?

Dre got a lot of credit on that murder was the case too, and from what I've heard, there were numerous hands in that album, not just dre.

Have you not seen the interviews from mel-man and his boys about how dre did the same shit to them? Granted, mel got co-producer credit on chronic 2001, but when you hear the beats, all you think of is dre and so does everyone else. No one is saying damn, mel man must be tight.

You can't compare Daz to JT, Sean T, and E-A Ski....DAZ went from WAAAAYYYY UP HEEEEEERE, with the #1 Gangsta Rap Label in the country, to down where we are. Now he's at So So Def, and I STILL ain't hearin people talkin about DAZ, which is odd because when JD signs somebody, they are all over the place. Also, you seem to forget, the BAY is just starting to get it's shine back after about 8-10 years. So yes, while Sean T, JT, and E-A are talented, they've been slept on with EVERYBODY ELSE in the Bay, and that is why they are still underground, because people were overlooking this entire region for years.

About DRE, dude is the DOPEST PRODUCER in RAP MUSIC RIGHT NOW and has been for years. People who have worked with him have been quoted as saying he is one of the BEST PRODUCERS EVER. You have to realize, music production is waaaaay more complicated than making a beat. If somebody makes beat and says "I'm a producer" I have to correct them. Daz may have touched some of those songs, but he didn't like he said he did. I find it interesting that all these new, young cats that "make all the beats" have the same style. I can hear a song and say, "Dre"...I seriously DOUBT all these youngstaz have the SAME VIBE in all their beats.

That ain't even it, Dr. Dre mixes, masters, arranges, composes, that's a producer. But, like I said, Dre didn't get all the credit on ALL EYES ON ME for making the beats, he got credit for producing the hit single which blew 2Pac COMPLETELY out of the water.

Mel Man has a lot of balls speaking on Chronic 2001...a good amount of the beats on that album were made by an orchestra and other instrument players, that's what was so sick about it, and DRE arranged that shit, then he PRODUCED it.
