I dig Apocalypse and the poster, but I felt the trailer was really holding the audience's hand.

You can tell Singer and the editing team aren't sure if people understand who the new bad guy is.
I dont. Glad they did it. I know some comic book shit, but i dont know it as deep as some of you....not even close.

Saw Xmen Apocalypse last night.
Overall: just meh.
Better that The Last Stand & Origins.
Pros: Apocalypse, Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Wolverine Cameo, editing around Psylocke.
Cons: Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, inconsistent continuity, not enough focus on Storm or Nightcrawler, too much Lucas CGI world, Magnetos a bad guy whose kind of good but still bad/yet still kind of good.

First 90 mins is really good. Like REALLY GOOD. And then it just putters out.

This will disappear next week.

I liked it a lot. I'm glad they were able to put so much in to it without making it feel overstuffed.

Wolverine's scene and Quicksilver's scene at the mansion were excellent.

Can't wait for the next one, really looking forward to seeing what they do with Mr. Sinister.
