ok....wtf was up with mystique losing her powers? do y'all think that there will be a cure for the "cure", or they just wanted to end her character? and with cyclops "dying"? I didn't get that...I mean jean grae can come back...as the dark phoenix or whatnot....but I just didn't get it....and proffessor x entered that one guy's mind at the end after the credits (the guy who he was talking about with his students)

and the brotherhood of evil mutants.....who the fuck were they? I hella didn't recognize any of the characters...and what was up with juggernauts gay aluminum foil helmet?

Mystique losing her powers shouldnt have been as big as deal as magnito leaving his girl behind. He might be a freak, but hes loyal to his people and would have took her naked ass with them to look for a cure to the cure.

and as far as the cure went... its just blood cells, it would have depleted over time and everyone would have remutated... atleast thats how it went down in the comicbook.

as for jean grey coming back as the dark pheonix, thats a part of the timeline... SHe died once before in the comic book and came back as the pheonix. but she didnt turn evil right away as in the comic. The dark pheonix eventually consumes her and she becomes the most evil mutant ever... even goes off to another galaxy and vaporizes it like dust. which starts off a whole chain of events not even covered by the movie.

Cyclops shouldnt have died, from what I understand the actor playing him had some sort of loyalty to the director of the previous two and jumped ship to go be in the superman movie. So it was just some sort of contract that he be in the movie and they just killed him when they could have easily done something else.

The brotherhood of evil mutants are a group fighting for mutant rights by lethal means for fun.
The juggernauts helmet is suppose to give him his super strength, as well as block any telepathic thoughts that might be performed by his half-brother Professsor X- none of which was covered in the movie. the juggernaught isnt a mutant. but the movie would have you believe hes some huge australian soccar hoolagan with a gay aluminum helmet.

Agreed. Magneto is not some Evil Mutant. He just doens't want to take shit from humanity. He would have taken Mystique with him and they would have gone on to get her powers back.

Unless they changed this in the comics he doesn't get his power from his Helmet, the Helmet just shields him from psychic attacks, Juggernaut gets his powers from a magical gem, which means that he is not a mutant or a mutate. He is just a man using magic.

What really got me though was that you introduce NEW X-Men and you don't do anything with them. I mean what kind of fucking movie has both Juggernaut and Colossus and not have a fight between them? And as far as Angel goes what did he do? He saved his father and that was it. He didn't fight ONE person. He flies three times and that's it.

And do we really need ANOTHER movie based on Wolverine? I mean he's quite possibly the most over rated X-Men ever. Who cares? It's a fucking team so show us more Beast, more Shadow Cat, more Ice Man [who by the way looked like the comic book Ice Man at the end], etc.

It was just a disapointment to see so many X-Men on the screen and feel like the whole thing was rushed. No character development, no memorable scenes, no nothing.

THAT was my feeling.. during and after the movie, that for most of the characters it was hella rushed... they can spend over 3 hours on King Kong and not on X-Men..? wtf...

I also agree with the Magneto/Mystique comment.. I was surprised they had him just leave her behind..

I guess they wanted to push the fact that magneto is evil....but yeah, thinking back he wouldn't have left her.....especially with what high regards he has for mystique.....if cyclops (the actor) was leaving then just switch the actor, fans aren't gonna mind that much....

what I meant about the brotherhood of evil mutants was I didn't get who the characters in the movie were....I knew of them in the comic books, but I had no idea what each character was supposed to be....n/m, just looked up some shit and saw that callisto was leader of the morlocks and I can't remember any of the other people.....and wussup with angel cutting off his wings as a kid...I thought he had his wings cut off, turned blue and became archangel....

and screw y'all for thinking wolverine is overratted....he is was and always will be my favorite comic character....although I'm still getting used to the actor who's playing wolverine, when I first saw he got picked in the first x-men, I was like wtf?!?!? wolverine is supposed to be kinda short & stalky, and where's his hair pointing up like ears?

i dont really care about them killin cyclops or professor x or taking away mystiques powers or magnetos because now they can focus on new super hero movies. I liked the 3rd one. . .they cant possibly go in depth to every character and every lil detail from the comics the movie would have been WAY TOO LONG. there was plenty of flaws in the movie. . . but its just a movie it has to be changed for mass appeal not just fan based. (and thats why the movie is makin lots and lots of money)

The broad in the purple hair who was sending all those waves was Psylocke. I wish they had gambit and shit. But i heard there are rumors of Wolvering getting his own movie and shit, the Weapon X days and his origin with Sabertooth. I think that shit would be tight.

i think the possibility of X-4 relies on X-3 numbers... if that's the case, X-4 should be a lock since it grossed #4 all time for the first 3 days (behind superman, shrek 2, and star wars 3)...

Eh i dont know about all that. For a part of me does not want to see a X-4. But then again alot can be done with whats left of the movie.

Why cyclopse(even tho he a bitch to me)dies is beyond me(didnt got by comic at all) and most of these folks died is stupid and some say ruined the franchise. I say they can start with the AoA(age of apocolypse) but the average movie person will have no idea what that shit is about.

I dunno. Its very very iffy.

Also remember. Most of the X-Men in this movie were Gen.1 X-Men(Beast,Cyclopse,Jean Grey,Shadow Cat,Colossus, Wolverine,Beast) Gambit, X-Man, and other are Gen.2

So there is room but i doubt it.
