x box and Ps2 play burned dvds

was i the only person who did not know this? i "backed" up (lol) the first season of the sopranos and it worked on both systems.

Why wouldnt it work?? As far as the systems know its a legit dvd.

Fucc I bought a new X-box 5 days ago and it wont read any burned cds. It says that it cant reconize tha disk and please remove and insert a mirosoft disk. Its stupid

It wont read burned cd-r but it will read burned cd-rw discs.

i tryed to play a burned dvd when i first got these systems, didnt work... so i was stunned when i tryed again n it worked.

on XBOX, sometimes it depends on what drive you got, if you have a Thompson it won't read anything that's burned, if you either a Philipps or a Samsung it will read most any burnt discs...
