My homeboy had both systems but decided to keep the 360........And sell the ps3.....

I had playstation and playstation 2.....but for some reason i wanted the x box 360......Some cats i use to work with had an influence on my descison though........All of them had 360...compared to the 1 who had ps3........I thought the controllers would fuck me off.....but i learned that shit quick.......Plus when i watched the madden tournament of T.V. They were playing on X box......Now when i play the ps3 at my boys house the controlls feel akward......But for some reason i still smash em in madden....

Cop that 360

fuck xbox ..niggas grew up on playstation 1, sega & nintento ..where the fuck did microsoft come from
but to be real i felt like 'where the fuck did sony come from' when playstation first came out and the major consoles was sega an nintendo......and it ended up being tight.

i was skeptical about microsoft too (they try to hustle) but i havent had as much fun playing video games since niggas was playin doom and wolfenstein on the computer.

ps3 just seems severely overpriced. i'm not even interested in blu ray right now....just tryna play some games and thats it...
and then none of my dvds are currently blu ray discs anyway so fuck the bullshit

my last console was ps2, i still play it...but...i havent seen anything on the ps3 that made me go 'oh shit i need one'

I vote for the PS3, I haven't had one problem with it (knock on wood). My son has a 360 and we had to return one of his because it kept scratching his games and freezing. His new has been doing it as "much"....

Video games is like the intranet. Serious business.

Every PS3 owner has said the same thing: "PS3 shits on the 360 because of the blu ray. I bought a PS3 mainly for the blu ray. blah blah blu ray."

If you want a blu ray player buy one of those 200 dollar ones.

If you want a gaming system there is no choice: 360. I own both and my Sony collects dust unless I'm playing a PS2 game on it.

xbox sent me a hard drive (129.00-149.00 in stores) for 19.99. (my bad, 14.99, free shipping) i never had a frozen game again. its got like 60gb on it. if you play a game alot you just put it on the hard drive and it runs hella smooth.

if you have your xbox still, look into it.

i know exactly what your talking about.
you just gotta go to the website and put in your serial number and theyll send you one and 5 months free xbox live.

that 'problem' got fixed so quick by microsoft i gotta give them props.

im on this same debate.. after tons of reviews i came to a conclusion.. PS3!

xbox - online pwns but you need to pay.. mostly for hardcore gamers.. downside is the red rings/ overheating (im not sure if i can completely trust microsoft)

PS3- blu-ray, online is free.. mostly for casual gamers.. and i hear about the defective laser though

Personally I suggest PS3, you never know if your xbox will break down or not, they have had an insane amount of failure rates. It's a gamble. PS3 fail rate is very low, like most respectable electronic devices.

Plus I hate Micro$oft with a passion and hope they all fuckin die of aids.

Let's be fucking real here. The PS3 is an over priced blueray player that has the ability to play a small collection of games. Free online play you say?! Alot of shitty things in life are free, the PSN is one of them. If you want to play dope games, play on the best fucking game network with the best players get a 360 not to mention probably all of your friends and coworkers will have it. If you want to be one of these clowns that fiddles their thumbs and tickles their asses while you wait for your game to be installed, get a PS3, you pussy.

IMO if you cant afford 7 dollars a month for xbox live you shouldnt even be trying to be in the market for a console...youll get one and you cant afford one 70 dollar game to play with your new console (10 months of xbox live)...

but if youre REALLY that broke...all you have to do is use a different gmail account every month, you get a free month of xbox live wo putting in a credit card.

oh, and they fixed the red rings thing last year around xmas

To be fair my brothers PS3 broke down and the laser won't read games anymore.

Though that is the only case I've heard of about the PS3 breaking down. I lost count of how many people with an xbox had it break down.

Being able to network my computer and my ps3 and watch movies that are on my computer through my psp when I am out of town, is a pretty cool feature in my opinion.

A small collection of games?? lol, so what are all these great games that the ps3 doesn't have? Halo, you fuckin nerd?

Come on, most games are made for both systems and both PS3 and Xbox have their own exclusive games. Both have exclusive downloadable games, content, etc.

Oh I'm definitely not saying the PS3 never has problems. I'm just comparing the numbers of the two, I believe at one point the xbox fail rate was 35% or so whereas the PS3 fail rate was around 1%-4%. (And just to include I think the wii is less than 1%).

Yeah I do that shit to, and it's cool to share not just movies all my music, pictures, etc. so my PS3 is my everything as far as my entertainment center goes (I used it to play games, movies, music) and if I ever get around to it I'm going to install Linux on it as well so I can use it for various other tasks as well.
