Yes, I am happy. If Chiefs had Rivers expectations would be high! Just like the Chargers. But because we have Cassel expectations will always be low for the Chiefs, which I love. Nothing to do with smoking weed homie. Rivers just isn't an Elite QB like so many "experts" try to make him out to be. Especially his fans....

ok, so this is where your thread takes a turn for the worse. see you arent in town and you dont hear the countless interviews in which Phillip blames himself for everything. all you know is the clips you see during the game or on espn...was he whining and pissed when he threw the ball up to VJ? yes, but you would be too if your reciever gave that kind of effort. and yes he did expect VJ to go up and at least attempt to catch it. Thats what the chargers do, throw the ball up and let their big recievers go and get it. I guess you missed the touchdown to Vincent Brown earlier......there was also a play in which the rookie ran a wrong route, Phillip let him have it and then turned around, put his arm around him and said we'll get em next time. Its called being a leader, competitor.

Brees suffered a possible career ending shoulder injury on the last game of the season, millions were invested in Rivers and the rest is history. Brees recovering from surgery and throwing the ball harder and better than ever has nothing to do with the chargers. its just the way things worked out......

You are right. I don't hear post game interviews or whatever......but that shit don't matter POST GAME. It matters DURING the game. Quit acting like a fucking baby during the game and soldier on. It affects his teams mentality when he acts like that and it is OBVIOUS. As your QB goes during the game......so goes the team. Just ask the Colts........

This.. You see Brady and Manning do this all the time to their Rookies.. They run an option route and run the wrong route and they get on them instantly. it's the exact same thing I'd want my QB to do. Rivers is a solid QB, I'd take him on my team no questions asked....

actually you stated an opinion, never proved a point....you said he was top 15 yet only named 9 QB's that you perceived to be better. Never mind that your list was questionable at best, are you saying he is top 10 then? And i didnt see Cassel on your list. So are you saying Rivers is better than Cassel but you would still prefer Cassel? If you are thats fine. You're a fan of the chiefs and are gonna choose with your heart. well, we chargers fans can admit we gave up on Brees too soon but we don't pay the players so it doesnt really matter what we think.
