Wake the fuck up and change up the image...this shit ain't working, it's fucking retarted...

Noone said you got to listen to it? Pop your 50cent cd back on and keep it movin.
Shit, I grew up on bay music. I will always love bay music, but damn...it is at an ALL TIME LOW. Pop in your 3XKrazy Stackin' Chips CD. Now that's music! Turn on 106 and you hear some simple fruityloops soundin' beats with annoying ass voices talking about some irrelevant dumb bullshit.

lol ... I agree with her on that one. Who'd of thunk it?

You gotta realize though. That was then and this is now. This is what we got right now. Music is about relating to the people who listen to it now more than ever. The current music is more of a reflection of the consumer today than it was back in the mid 90s

Not every artist in the Bay is on the shit like that. You got cats still makin good music in the Bay such as Keak, Jacka, Team, B legit, San Quinn, Balance, Federation, E 40, Yuk etc... These artist really dont be puttin the 2 on the 10 too much. Of course theres gonna be people that exploit the shit and run it in the ground but you have to realize that this goes on everywhere not just the Bay. Thats why for every 1000 rappers in a region only 1 makes it.

And go outside the Bay before you say that everybody else be laughin at us cuz I know from experience in many different states that once cats get a chance to hear our music and see our culture they be lovin our shit. Come to LA and ask some of these youngsta's if they feelin it and i gurantee you that they say yes. Or shit just ask the ying yang twins if they feelin it. They made a whole damn song titled "go dumb." It dont get more cut and dry than that.

The buzz in the Bay aint for no reason. Please beleive we comin and when we finnaly get there its a wrap. 100

Don't even bring Keak into the discussion. He used to be my favorite artist, every track was SICK. Now look at him. All up on the hyphy bandwagon, every beat he spits on now is annoying and wack as fuck. WTF is wrong with him. Oh well, I guess all the little teeny boppers that listen to KMEL are lovin' it so it's all good right.

Another thing: I knew the first cities mentioned that are "feeling" the bay would be either Los Angeles or like seattle or some shit. Start moving east and the bay get's no love. The bay gets made fun of. The bay has no credibility. Is Too Short still supposed to be the only bay cat holdin it down? LMAO...he probably reps Atlanta harder than the does the bay now. And for the Ying Yang Twins, I don't know the whole story but if I had to guess, I'd say their song go dumb didn't even have anything to do with bay area influence and that's probably the truth. wake the fuck up...

You say the bay gets made fun of. That's not necessarily a bad thing. That just means mufuckas don't understand it yet. Fools used to laugh The Neptunes out of the Studio and now look at them ...

What the fuck is wrong wit keak? Well let me tell you.

He's bigger than ever before, has a top 25 single in cali and top 50 in the nation for spins. Has the biggest buzz out of any underground (or damn near any artist period) in cali, has a video, labels tryin to sign him, and is about to piggy back into the mainstream off his feature on 40's new single. Hmmm need I say more?

Well like I said, I don't know the details. So if that is true...well then ok, they got it from the bay. Good shit. Too bad everyone will think they made it up though. Typical for shit the bay makes up.
