That satement right there lets me know the level of intelligence im dealing with.
Black people have the second highest purchasing power in this country you idiot. Why do you think most advertising is hip hop oriented? Its because we consume more tha damn near everybody. The bad thing about it is that we consume more of other peoples shit than our own. The black dollar is very powerful in this country and all the white owned company's know it. If you knew anything about money or businesss you would too.

70 percent of hip hop is purchased by white people. So while they may burn also, the numbers of them buying albums far out weight the numbers that dont.
Are you trying to say the rising amount of hip-hop-related advertising is targeting black people alone? Hip-hop is the most popular pop-culture in America right now. Not only black people are into hip-hop as your 70% statistic shows...

It may be the most popular culture in america but it is still OUR culture and we are still the biggest consumers in it. Hip hop is'nt just the music its the style, clothing, way of life, etc... So just because 70 percent of hip hop music is purchsed by whites doesn't mean that 70 percent of hip hop culture is being consumed by whites.

The biggest consumers in any market in this country are white people. They are supporting P. Diddy and Sean Carter's clothing lines, they are supporting the album sales. We need some hard factual statistics in here otherwise this argument is going nowhere.

We already know that white peole are the number 1 consumers in this country thats a given. Im talkin about just consumption of the hip hop culture. And like I said before Black people are the number one consumers of the hip hop culture. You have to remember that this is OURS so the majority of black people are into hip hop. White people on the other hand have pop and country culture. The number of whites livng those types of lifestyles still out weight the ones livin (or trying to live) the hip hop culture.

Well I don't have statistics to support this, but I think that white people are most likely the number 1 consumers of the whole hip-hop "culture."

Only reason Mac Dre is so popular right now is because he got murdered. I know most of you gonna think that is a fucked up comment or whatever, but if you actually untie your panties and think about it, it's true. Like biggie said, "you're nobody til somebody kills you." Before mac dre died all the lil bay area groupie kids barely even had an idea of who he was. So basically mac dre is a bad example, cuz if he were alive things would be different...

so now that mac dre died (RIP) people heard about his music, and guess what, they LOVE IT. so that goes to show, if you expose the bay shit, they will love it.
First of all, define "people" and define "his music." the people=square ass kids listening to kmel only heard "get stupid" "feelin' myself" and maybe "boss tycoon." wow...big exposure. half the nerds on the mac dre shit only heard those 3 songs and that's all they bump.
