kinda funny how a movie like Paranormal Activity operates on a 15,000 budget but makes hundreds of millions. Nothing but profit! This movie series is shit for its budget size

you can't really compare the two, the Paranormal Activity movies have a multi million dollar marketing campaign from Paramount. Wrong Turn 2, 3, 4 were filmed knowing and having the intention to be straight to video.






(also Paranormal Activity 2 and 3 had budgets in the millions)

But was never released. Paramount bought the movie rights after it was shown at a festival. Then it was just sitting there for 3 or more years, and then Paramount made changes and marketed it. So it was the US$ 15,000 + all the money Paramount paid and invested.

It's the Blair Witch effect and it only works with certain type of movies. Cannot compare it to Wrong Turn. Only if they'd pull a Cannibal Holocaust Wrong Turn move...
