Wowzers. its really shocking and amazing whats happening/ and whats gonna happen in the next 3 years. i remember when i started 95live back in 2002 there was no VIBE for bay-music anywhere. even people in the bay wasnt supporting bay music. i would remember people being so off of 50cent because that was around the time his 1st album came out. - now it seems everyone i come in contact with is on this bay hype. and its a good look.

I was just in NY and trust me, word is bond when i say this the bay movement, is alive and kickin. the reason why i say bay movement because thats whats happening no dis too hyphy but the bay as a whole is forming like the south did. we starting too come up and see the positive things and it makes us wanna unite and get this money. i meen alot of reps have been talkin too me asking me about who's hot, every bay area boss is gonna be signed and i can gurantee anyone whos out here in this bay area will eat.

from Magazines, Clothing lines, tv shows, DJs, Club Owners, and even radio people like myself as i do the radio thing. - its really crazy too just sit and witness whats going on. i meen e40 is gonna be on punk'd. i can name like 5 bay rappers who are gonna be signed within a matter of days/weeks. hate it or love it. the bay is back and its about time.

The best thing we can do is just sit back and watch the magic happen, everyone is doing there part, from dj erock @ sirius too danny dee going too all theese out of state summits too even locally scotty fox and big von, the eyes are on us and coming from when i started runnin full force with this bay shit. it feels good. for real. well u kno the deal. Just wanted too let that be known.

I think right now the bay has a really diverse sound. We got hyphy music, mob music, ect, ect, ect. A lot of different styles. Im just glad the rest of the country has picked up on it. And fa sho we gotta keep it moving. Props for sure to E-Rock. I have Sirius and I hear bay shit all the time on there and Shad-E 45 is hopin on it as we speak, and not just "Tell me when to go"

Yea, it's actually happening. Usually, I would be in denial and say so many things on why the bay is gonna blow up. Even though knowing in the back of my head, I knew we weren't.

But that was then. Now I think the Bay had enough. Niggaz takin are shit from left to right and paying no dues. I say, we deserve our shine. If there's one region in hip hop that's most deserving right now, It's the bay without a doubt.
I mean....
1. You would never find us on the source or xxl.
2. You would never see us on MTV and BET.
3. You would never see us on the award shows.
4. You would never hear us being mentioned when there's a reference to "West Coast Rap"
5. You would never hear us being credited for our slang and culture.

But things are changing now as you can tell. E-40 is really the king of the bay. He deserves all of the credit for putting the bay on the map, once again. Now, it's up to everyone else to pitch in gas money for the yellow bus. *ahem* Team *ahem*...sorry, I had to clear my throat like shock himself. :)

So true.

I think part of why its so big right now is because we have most of the support from everyone within The Bay, and for the mostpart we are all on the same wavelength.

Just a couple years ago, Bay rap was considered 'underground' if you asked most people...and now, you can turn on the radio and chances are you're going to hear a Bay artist !

I think all of this attention definitely put a 'sense of urgency' into a lot of Bay Area artists as well, because as a whole...I think we've stepped up our music game in a major way. No pun intended.

federation started the hyphy movement and kept it moving u know e-40 will never be hyphy to me but its coo we finally back on the map
Federation - Hyphy (feat. E-40). 40 co-birthed the Hyphy Movement along with Rick Rock, he didnt invent hyphy music, he gave the music a movement with the Federation and Rick Rock.

The crazy thing is the federation first album seems like it was ahead of its time, anyone agree but sly real talk I been talking to some cats at Rap A Lot and same thing all eyes are on the bay
Yeah Feds CD was ahead of it's time. All good though, It's Whatever should do the trick this time around. Good luck to the Feds and all other Bay Area acts trying to get that limelight.
