I am just not a flag person. I could have been born in plenty of other countries, and most likely wind up in one whose flag represents oppression, genocide, imperialism, or some other concept detrimental to humans and history.

Therefore, I would never waive a flag or even hold one to burn it. I have, however, burned people in effegy.

This will be my last post in this thread. You were asked to explain how the murder of innocent civilians in Iraq relates to what America stands for. Your response was that since a small portion of the American military betrayed the ideals they were taught and lost morale, since we have different motives than people from other wars and a history of violence like many countries this is more than a consequence of war but "what America stands for." You are right to think Americans should be held to higher expectations and that those involved should be held accountable, and if that was your point you would be correct. You are entitled to have your own opinion about the flag as well but to paint a picture of the what the US stands for using an article that charges a dozen marines and “is focusing on the actions of a sergeant who may have been the leader of a four-man “fire team”” ignores the good efforts of Americans serving Iraq and the ideals of our country.

You then proceeded to make slandering conclusions about someone you have never met in person because you have a difference of opinion and accused me of some conspiracy of trying to make you look like a fool. To my knowledge I did not ever edit that post and if I did it would have been a matter of a few minutes after originally posted, not after you made a reply.
So there’s my 2 cents and Im done with it.

I burned my High School flag off the flag plole. Like a year after 9/11. They were tripping and trying to find out who did it. But I never told nobody who it was. I did it cuz I didn't like how these dumb fucks were hating on muslims. And if its not the muslims is somebody else..And thats one of the many things our country stands for..I love this place don't get it twisted..I just don't like the motherfuckers who run it
