Give Monta time and he'll be one of the best. No disrespect to AI who is one of my favs of all time but I think Monta will be better. If you'd ask any GM who would they rather have NOW, I can gurantee you ALL of them would say Monta.

he reminds me of him. you cant make a comparison. AI came outta college as a starter for the 6ers. Monta came straight outta highschool as a backup. he will be better than AI in a couple years.

For you guys that keep saying AI is the best player 6 feet and under:

1) What does that have to do with anything?

2) Monta Ellis is listed at 6'3

IMO monta wouldnt be good as #1 on the team. AI has done alot in his career all by himself and i feel if ellis was in those situation he wouldnt do so well. and AI does well in playoffs regardless of win or loss he still plays well and from what we seen so far ellis lets his nerves get the best of him in the big playoff games. maybe it'll change but as of right now he has yet to prove he should be mentioned in the same breath as AI but once again that can all change and the potential is there but gonna have to wait and see.

warrior fans i'm not hating just stating an opinion so please to take it personal

What's funny is that's exactly what's happening...

For those who don't understand the question (there are still a few of you).

If you went to your local park and saw some random no-name who played like Iverson on one team and a guy that played like Monta Ellis on the other team, would you say that they play in a similar fashion?

i dont think i would. i mean they have different styles IMO. ellis is much faster and go's to the rim more where AI just has those handles that defenders cant fuck with and a better shot, specially when it's an awkward one. and i get what ur saying but i think u misunderstood me. when i was explaining the playoff's and how they play i was just trying to show that monte doesn't play with the confidence to take over a game yet. and confidence does alot to ur game and can make u look alot different playin as well. so with all that said i dont think he plays like AI yet
