Who else is up on the Windows Mobile Hype?


I'm fucking with wm6 on my 8525.....what kind of applications you fuck with? Live Search is hella raw, that shit has maps, directions, traffic, and closest cheapest gas prices.....I think google maps added the gas also, but Live Search got voice recognition, so you can just talk and it'll search around you. I also fuck with the pttfix, but I guess that's kinda phone specific. it just changes my "push to talk" button into whatever I want it to be, which I leave it as voice dial. I tried the spb pocket plus and it was pretty tight, but it was in some odd language and I don't have a serial for the english version......spb brain evolution was tight, but I couldn't find a serial number for it


I'll put links to some cab files later if y'all want.....but feel free to add your own

Fuck I don't have time to post all the shit I use right now but when I get in to work I'll put down alot of useful applications that I have to have. Man there is so much shit.

I fuked around and got the tilt as well. I got Google Maps, Live search, HTC Home Plug-in, Black Dialer, TouchFlo Cube, Kaiser Tweaks, WebCamera Plus, Opera Mobile, Hella Games and Ultimate Launcher. By far UL is the most usefull program I got. Basicly you can create an unlimited # of Cubes and put any link/.exe file attached to an Icon on each side of the cube. So i got about 7 sides on my UL Cube. #1 has the HTC Home Plug-in, #2 has my Email and IM, #3 has about 8 internet links, #4 has all my Mobile Office links, #5 has all the games, #6 has my media, and #7 has all my configuration tools. I also intalled TomTom GPS navigation and TunItRadio but cant seem to get it to work. Anyone got these up and running? Damn, you can do anything with this phone!

I had a radio application on my phone, I forgot exactly what it was, but I did get it to work. you can't get a gps application to work because htc phones don't usually have gps built in, you'd need to get a bluetooth gps receiver. HTC home is tight tho, it makes the today screen look so much cleaner as well as having those other 5 tabs

i almost came up on 2 iphones laste nite!!!! fuckin hella mad at myself for not makin the swoop at the right time. i only bring it up cuz the iphone has some of the features

im glad to hear that cause the 8125 is a piece of shit imo but ive had it for awhile now.. i might have to hit you up when i get my shit..and i thought the tilt came with GPS thats wat i was told by at & t when i ordered the phone. but i really dont need that shit no how.

Defy not sure about your model but with my HTC i was able to install a hacked rom which enables my GPS and it works great. Anyhow some of my favorite applications with links are as follows note some require forum registration:

HTC Home Customizer : Lets you change the defualt interface to a nice updated one thats skinnable.


XM Radio Mobi Tv and Song ID : Listen to ATT's XM radio, watch Mobi TV for absolutley free, works on Verizon and Sprint not sure about ATT.

I posted about this a while back, but go to tuned.mobi to stream pretty much any am or fm station in the US. Make sure you have a data plan first though! Any station, any state.

good lookin on the apps likwid....what kind of phone & rom do you have? cuz that'd be some tight shit to have gps, but I'm pretty sure I'm not able to on mine

the SPB mobile shell is tight. IMO its better than the htc home plug in, looks way nicer and got alot of extra shit.....now I just need to find a serial number......actually, SPB makes alot of tight shit for ppc's, but I can only find serials for some of them

I have the Verizon XV6800 aka Titan (ATT) aka Mogul (SPRINT). Right now I'm using this old DCD 2.x Rom that enables the GPS reciever in my particular phone. With that I use Windows Live Search which is pretty fuckin dope.
