Snoop's just doing it now because he wants to stay relevent in the rap game. That quote alone says it all, he wants to bring southern california back, not the whole west coast. When they think of west coast they think of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. but we all know that is fiction. The bay is makin noise and E-40 been puttin down for the bay since day one. It's time for a new west coast to show to the world. Once e-40's newest album comes out, we'll see who puts it down for the west. Pleasbaleav it will be e-40 and not snoop.
Snoop will never have to put out another record and still be the man, true enough his shit is garbage, but he's a businessman first, rapper last. Relevent, he don't have to do shit. I've been in the music business 18yrs. worked with everyone from Pac, Snoop, E-40, Young Bloodz etc..., it's not about the industry, it's about the status, and how do you get status? by being everywhere and letting the world know who you are, E-40 can't draw 40,000 folks in a Arena in South Africa or Australia, Snoop can. It's all business nothing personal, you maybe satisfied with your local hereo's, that's cool, but keep it real. Have you looked at Snoops sound scan vs. E-40 sound scans. 65% of white America buy rap, 10% of African Americans purchase rap, the other 25% are considered others buy the remaining. White America will let Snoop Snoop do what the fuck he wants cuz there kids love him, he a token so he would do a better job than E-40. bottonline. Baby Bash has already started the Bay Area movement. He's introducing Mac Dre and E-40 on his album. There will be an earthquake before the year ends. Just wait til 40's album comes out this summer, produced by mainly Rick Rock and LiL JOn. Imagine if Mac Dre was still alive. I'm sure some cats who bought the Bash are feelin the track with Mac Dre.
