How come it isn't a main concern to most people to find out why we here? and whats out there?

Im gunna come out and say that its mainly because most ppl consumed by their everyday life and the tiny bullshit that affects it. But why isnt this a main priority or goal for every human being no matter what race nationality or religion? gimme your opinions on this......i wanna hear some other peoples out takes on why this aint a main concern for the entire human race.....

im talkin space travel, time travel and just curiousity to see how far everything goes.....Why dont more people care about this shit? and do u think its right to ignore it and proceed with our everyday lives?

Theres almost no funding for this shit......WASSUP?

The people that can afford it don't want to invest in it. I've always wondered why we don't explore more or try to explore more of outer space. We still have the space station still in the works, but I dont know how much progress they're making with it. You can't help but wonder what is going to happen when we run out of natural resources OR global warming, be it 100, or 500 years. I know it won't be our problem but it will still be our kids or grandkids problem. We won't have much of an option when it does happen, either live under the ocean or relocate to Mars.

Why would we want to invest millions of dollars to go to uninhabitable rocks and empty space. Im fine with how im livin. I understand that you want to know whats out there, but u cant forget what we have here. We need to get our shit together on earth before we go to mars a venus and shit. We still have poverty, uneducated people and alot more shit going on that we gotta worry about first.

I'm pretty sure the US already spends Millions of dollars on Space Exploration.

You also have to remember that space travel is still relatively new. We are limited to what and how we explore space.

There are a number of new projects and technology that is currently being funded by the millions, such as space elevators, which appears will become a reality in the near future.

The reason why it's not a top priority is because of all the shit going on here on Planet Earth. Wars, poverty, disease, etc. are more important than landing on Mars.

you are all missing the point, totally. MONEY should not be an issue into the exploration of mankind beyond this universe. Yall lookin at this shit so SIMPLE.

sayin that its a waste of time and money to goto uninhabited "rocks"

I AINT TALKIN ABOUT THE PLANETS IN THIS SOLAR SYSTEM...

I wanna know whats beyond it, and i think that it should be a common intrest for everyone that lives on this earth. As a human, to know why we are here....and what else is out there... How about doing somthing to get it done instead of holding back because this whole world is controlled by money.

Im glad i made this post and im glad you people replied like you did.. it proves that no one gives a fuck about this shit cuz it costs too much money....AND THAT AINT RIGHT.

The creation of money destroyed the exploration of the human race into outer space. And we know who created money, dont we? Coincidence?

I think you’re getting too upset over this.

I wanna know whats beyond it and i think that it should be a common intrest for everyone that lives on this earth.
Currently we cannot travel beyond our solar system.

As a human, to know why we are here...
No reason, really.

and what else is out there...
Yes, it is important to know what else is out there but with our current technologies it is unlikely we can find anything anytime soon.

We have spent millions (if not billions) of dollars on various Intelligent Life research programs, such as SETI (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence), which is constantly searching the sky for intelligent life.

You must remember that the Milky Way galaxy is 100,000 light years across, and has hundreds of billions of stars. Searching the entire sky for some kind of faint signal is like searching for needle in a haystack larger than earth.

How about doing somthing to get it done instead of holding back because this whole world is controlled by money.
Perhaps more research could be done under an alternative to capitalism.

it proves that no one gives a fuck about this shit cuz it costs too much money.
No, it proves that for one, there are other more important things we currently need to tackle (poverty for example) and two, we currently do not have the technology available to us.

Firstly im not upset, Second, We dont have the technology available because of Money restrictions.

Honestly though, you say we need to tackle the issues here, IE poverty. i would agree, except this coulda been takin care of....instead we fightin wars that are costin us double triple even quadrouple the amount of money it would take to wipe away poverty.

People are too wrapped up in themselves (in general, not all people) to even consider shit like that. There are people who are interested in this and I'm sure a lot of money does go into it....But even if our gov't (cause it'd probably be them funding and researching) did find something, I dont' think they would say shit, or at least they would present it in a way that benefited them and and only those in "power" positions.

Other reasons? There's way more shit going on, right in front of our faces that we (humanity) need to deal with. Poverty, disease, and war being the first three I can think of. People, for the most part, don't know how to balance their lives.

Think about this, all the poverty and wars and all that shit you guys mentioned...won't mean shit and won't be on anybodys mind when global warming takes effect and people are burnin alive. The only thing everybody will be thinking about is why the FUCK are they still on this planet when we have the resources and the intelligence to start life on another planet. Once global warming takes effect theres nothing all the money in this world can do about it or people can do about it. Nasa knows this, the government knows this, thats why they already started exploring space almost 60-70 years ago. If people started burning alive TOMMORROW from global warming, nasa and hella other cats running the states and world, would know, and they'd be on the first space shuttle outta the earth with other people to go start life on another planet. Or..under the ocean cause that'd be probably the first logical place to go.

Do you really think so? We have the money, the US I mean, and the people to do it. It's just spent on other shit, like occupying damn near every country on the face of the planet, the war in Iraq, the "war on drugs", etc.

People in power have agendas that they want to follow or that they are told to follow...For the most part they are the good little sheep/bitches they are. I don't see any of these people's agendas including anything regarding man searching the outer depths of space.

Also you say, Theres no reason to know why we are here or what we are doing in the massive picture of everything....

maybe u dont think theres a reason, but Myself personally iv accepted death and the fact that i aint gunna be around forever to see what happens....so i wanna know some shit before my time here is done, I wanna know whats out there and i feel it should be a common intrest shared by the majority of the human race to research this constantly without the limitation and restriction of money, think how much advanced we would be if we did things to get them done, instead of working like a slave for the american dollar which controls YOU and EVERYONE YOU KNOW. It dont matter what you say, this is true.

there are lots of other way to know the truth
one u can start would be analyzing everything
and i mean everything
you need to get the bigger picture in this life as a whole
notice patterns and pay attention to how everything is connected
this sounds like some spiritual bullshit and im tellin you now, if u wont believe , u wont see

read about your subconscious mind and how it connects to your higher self and into the universal cosmic mind

i mean i dunno about you but i see all we need to know why we are on earth is on this planet, and the best place to start is the human mind =)
