I have noticed over the last few years that the Bay Area Rap artists and KC, Mo rap artists are alot alike... there beats, the way they rap.. Why is that?

I know that Mac Dre worked alot out there before he passed, but I know that the Bay and KC have been working together long before that..

Im doing an article for school.. so any feed back would be cool...

JT The Bigga Figga/Rich The Factor
Killa Tay/Fat Tone.
Andre Nickatina and Tech N9ne have similar styles and have a cult-like following.
Messy Marv and C-Bo stood out in KC, MO for a while.
Yukmouth/Tech N9ne = Regime
