Well, if shit like that bothers you, then you're not in the correct frame of mind to be doin this in the first place.

So you are Nikki Benjamin? cuz thats who I remember Tunji being the assistant for.
Tunji was the assistant for both of us before nikki left for geffen. He never had a chance with the workload that was put in front of him. I think he was the only assistant that worked for two different marketing directors. I'm not gonna disclose my name but if you know who's office was next to Nikki's then you know who I am.

500 is alot for a beat when u can go to a producer wit a name and get a better beat for less

And who are these producers you claim?

I know young l sell his beats for 500 a pop but even then, all your going to get is a beat with knockin ass drums and a few sound effects here and there.

Your not buying a Rick Rock beat for 500 brah. I don't think Sean T would even work with that brah.

If you think 500 is too much, then its time to start making your own beats!!

They'd be leased beats that 500 internet rappers already have. the big time soundclick producers sell each exclusive beat for 300-500

why would bay producers give away beats. bay producers are barely eating themselves. i cant name 1 up and coming bay rapper killing the mix tape game right now. I know of established bay rappers dropping mixtapes, and if i were a producer i would give it to them, but i wouldnt give free beats for a bunch of weak ass rappers who arent givin me shit in return. If u are serious about your craft, u would pay for a beat.
A MUTHAFUCKIN MEN!

I had this cat come through lookin' for beats...showed him some shit I've done for other cats, and he was diggin' it. When I got to talkin' about prices, he was like, "I ain't got the money for beats right now...but I can give you beats in exchange". MUTHAFUCKA! Why would I want your beats when I have a team of producers workin' with me? Your beats don't put food in my stomach.

If you're serious, get your money right. If not, you shouldn't be rappin' in the first place. That's why a lot of cats started makin' mixtapes, 'cause they wanna release shit, but they don't wanna pay to make it.

The boy Sydal is spittin straight game, I have encountered that shit too.

Motherfucka wanted to trade me 3 of his beats, for one of mine LoL

why would I want 3 sub par beats, in exchange for my quality beat, I spent time in.

Motherfuckas aren't business savy round here, they be lame and dirt broke. It takes money to make money.

Yup yup. Cats around here are funny. When I show beats to cats outside of this region, the first thing they ask is, "What's your askin' price for this beat?". That's business sense right there. Being a business man, I respond with "What kind of budget are you workin' with?". If they have a small budget, I will still fuck with 'em...as long as they realize that this is a business and my team has to eat off all the hours we put into this shit...and as long as it's reasonable. Most Pre-Production sessions here run from 8 PM-4AM, roughly. There's no way in hell the barter system is gonna work with that shit...lol.
