why do ppl blast their car stereos?

lol @the nitwits trying to cap on me for making this thread...i asked a legit question, grandpa form the burbs, lol, i was born in a place were some of you so called "thugs" wish you were from, and i dont give a shit about ppl listening to music loud, but come on, windows rattling, cant hear shit but the windows about about to break...and i work all night, garuantee if some of you shmoes worked nights and had to put up w some horns and sirens blasting in some crunk song next to your room, windows shaking and shit, youd sing a different tune.
i ask because honestly i dont see the big deal in getting a big ass system for my car, maybe im not hood enough for some of you hard asses who are used to driving down the block with subs and whoofers doing your thug thang, lmao,or maybe im just a narc...bunch of dopes...i think paying my bills is more important than spending a shitload of dough just to make my car sound good...but thats just me, i dont slang so i dont have money to spare, i know some of you hood cats must push weight, living in the hood and all. :eyecross:

^^^It aint about being thugs, its about enjoying what most of us here love the most, MUSIC! I love music so much, when a tight song comes on I gotta turn it up as loud as it will go without getting all distorted. It aint just yong poeple either, my pops will be driving around bumping some Pink Floyd hella loud. If you love music, ya wanna play it loud.

Man on the real i bump my shit for 2 reasons.
1) I like my music loud and i can hear it over the subs my highs are clear
2)To show off and up to all the punk ass little kids thinkin they shit tight tryin to diss muthafuckas on the road. I used to have my remote wire to my sub amp hooked up to a switch and would roll up with trebble and shit right next to they ass with they wack ass trebble crackling and the bass thuppin a little. out show them with trebble and they think they tight cause they got some bass. man i would flip that bass switch on my subs knocked them fools would straight roll the window up and bump the fuck out.. now a days I dont have the bass switch anymore but best belive if i roll up to a light and some punk ass kids next to me thinkin they coo imma show em up(unless my lady in the car she hates that shit)

I do turn it down at a light if i am next to some old people who dont like it and or have a baby sleeping in the car. I aint fucked up like that.

the reason i said "thugs" because these guys saying im tne police or im from the burbs, lol, like everyone living in the hood likes to hear that shit up to the max...i remember when ravage and i were at some stoplight, and some guy rolls up next to us, looks over, our music wasnt even up that loud, then reaches for his stereo to turn it up, and turn it up he did, now that shit is stupid, when mofos just do it to show off, personally i think the moajority of ppl bump their shit to show off, its actually sad to try an impress mofos with your stereo...shits like trying to say my dog is cooler than yours.
