I just wanna add one person to my list that I wouldnt put on there but i have to wait to see what his total career numbers add up to be but Brian Westbrook. He might not be a top 5 but I would put him in top 10

priest holmes?

come on now...lol

i am a Chiefs fan and all, but Priest isn't even a top 10 back. Shit, maybe not even a top 20 back. Priest looked unstoppable thanks to the offensive line we had back then, im not saying he wasn't that good, im just saying the oline helped him out alot.

man as much as I want to agree with you TD is not one of the top 5 ever. The rb's for denver have proven it's strictly system and not the runner themselves.

My top 5

Barry
Payton
Emmitt
Dickerson
Faulk

honorable mentions

m allen (Could be top 5, but I think Faulk changed the game at the time so moved him to 5)
c mart
brown

I hear you about TD but I can't think of too many other running backs that I'd rather have running the ball for me. TD handled business when it came to running the ball.

Let me change my top 5:
Barry Sanders
Terrell Davis
Walter Payton
Bo Jackson
Jim Brown

I've never seen a running back that ran as hard as TD has especially in the playoffs. Don't forget about that SuperBowl vs GB. To me that was the best SuperBowl and TD set or tied a record with 3 rushing TD's..... and he had a bad headache. They need to induct him ASAP.

Bo dont get it simply cuz his career was pretty short.....

Jackson, Bo 4 Years 1987 - 1990 Att: 515 Yds: 2,782 Avg: 5.4 TD: 16

thats a average of a lil over 500 yards and 4 tds a season.....

Davis, Terrell 8 Years 1995 - 2002 Att: 1,655 Yds: 7,607 Avg: 4.6 TD: 60

TD however, is pretty close
but compare to barry sanders who played 2 more years...

Sanders, Barry 10 Years 1989 - 1998 Att: 3,062 Yds: 15,269 Avg: 5.0 TD: 99
