Nope, Marcus Allen would be a top 10 easily, and hes a raider

but...

like i said, you can look @ 4 year players who have similar numbers

So i mean if bo jackson is a top 5, why wouldnt frank gore be?

Frank Gore, 3 years.....699 carries.....3,405 yards.....4.9average.....16TDs
Bo Jackson, 4 years ....515 carries.....2,782 yards.....5.4 Average .... 16 TDs

U see what i mean?

Basing everything on stats ONLY is incorrect, you have to look at the context. Bo aint in my top 5, but he shits all over Gore IMO. Gore's still young though...

^ im not making it a Gore vs Bo thing, im just showing that bo jacksons stats were pretty ordinary, a player who played 1 year less has better numbers except for the average, and same amount of TDs......

I see what you mean but Bo Jackson was unstoppable... he was bigger, faster, stronger. He ran threw Ronnie Lott and Steve Atwater!

Averaging over 5 yards a carry in the NFL is not ordinary. How many running backs can you name that averaged over 5 yards per carry?

Tony, would Garrison Hearst be a top 10? top 20?

Hearst played 12 years (missed 2 to that horrible ankle injury) and was a backup for 3 years with arz and 1 with Denver, demoted for Kevan Barlow his last year in SF)
was a starter for 6 years....

1,831 carries 7,966 yards 4.4 avg 30 tds for hearst

Good luck!^ You got your work cut out for you. Bo Jackson couldn't be touched mayne. He was Earl Campbell with Eric Dickerson's speed... he probably was faster than Dickerson.

It's a waste of time because you won't find too many...

I think that's because he was splitting time with Marcus Allen. Just check out Bo's highlights dog... He was running through linebackers and safeties... DB's couldn't even catch him from behind.
