i'll say that karl malone was a better offensive player than tim duncan...but that could be because he had john stockton to pass him the rock all those years

but overall, i'm gonna stick with tim duncan; i'd give him the edge over karl malone because he's a way better defender

KG and Dirk probably would rank right below Barkley and Malone. That's a good point about them never winning it all, but who could in Jordan's era? Both lost to Michael's Bulls (Malone had two shots, one with home court advantage).
