All the groups named are for sure some of the bay areas finest. But if I was to have to name one group that was above the rest, in my personall opinion it would have to be the Ill Mannered Posse. Cougnut and C-Fresh go to fuckin hard on those cd's. A close second for me would be Cold World Hustlers. E-Sic is one of the best in the rap game period IMO.

They were trend setters and heavily influenced the Bay Area rappers that succeeded them.
They have totally influenced our music for sure, them cats have achieved legendary status in my book....

RATED X OUT OF EAST MENLO PARK/EAST PALO ALTO 2 ME IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE GROUP BECAUSE THEY WAS ROCKIN SHOWS ALL THROUGH CALI BACK WHEN ALOT OF THESE BAY BOSSES NOW WAS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL OR WHATEVER. SOME MIGHT FEEL DIFFERENT BUT FROM WHERE IM STANDIN', IM TELLIN IT LIKE IT IS.
