My answer is Bonds, easily. McGwire is not even a .300 hitter. I remember when he was going for the homerun record, he said he would rather hit .300 then hit 62 HR's. Thats pretty said.

manny ramirez? he is a great hitter, but he too swings at a lot of bad pitches. bonds only siwngs at strikes and he only needs to see one good pitch to turn on it.

babe ruth was obviously a great player but there are a lot of factors that come into play.

he only faced white players
pitchers pitched with less rest
a ground rule double was considered a home run

you cant say that the fact players work out and bulk up more is much of a factor since pitchers do the same. yes barry might work out, but so does every pitcher

I'd pick Bonds. McGwire was a sav but Bonds is just a much better all around hitter. I'd also like to have Manny Ramirez up there too, hes a monster.

NONE of us can speak on Babe Ruth because I think he was a little before our time. So stop tryin to act like anyone knows how good he really was. The numbers don't lie, he was a pimp in his era but we can't speak on how he would do now.
