I train every day, here's my sparring partner.

Ya I can fight. I've been in probably over 100 in my life.
I'm over fighting, it's not worth hurting someone or getting hurt myself. Plus I'm too old to be doing that (28). I still train though just in case.

A lay off from a street fight doesn't mean much.
If you have it, you have it...

the shit is 50/50..sometimes you win..sometimes you'll lose.....but at the end of the fight..you will still remain friends..

LOL! Real shit, I have been in more fights than responses in this thread times two or three. You win some and lose some. But the thread starter sounds to be on the same bitch shit as he thinks his boy is on. Get em up if that's how you feel. Why you on the internet talking about it? I mean fuck.....

I'll square up or use whatever is handy given the circumstances. But nowadays if you trying to catch one, you might catch more than a fist. No time to be playing out there. It's you or me.

I have had many fights over the dumbest things, wasn't the hardest to provoke in my early years.

but now I'm calm, able to defend myself and others.

Just because the dude is big doesn't mean he knows how to use his strength in a fight.
I've seen big dudes fighting like girls and I am standing there laughing my ass off.
If you know how to use the strength that you got to throw a punch then you have more advantage then a dude who is strong and doesn't has this technique (which goes for 99% of the fights out there).

It's primarily about the technique and the quickness, strength is nice but completely not necessary.
and there's something to be said for someone that's completely calm in the fight and isn't afraid to get hit. Mix that with accurate, well placed punches and you have someone that is lethal

lmao @ that gay hipster fight

I know another dude that's a trainer and he was training this big dude for awhile. The student got pissed and challenged the trainer. He had the same response I did "You know I train people how to fight right? What do you think I can do in a fight?"

I've trained a grip of people and I can pick apart bad form, footwork etc... and usually you can tell if someone is punching too wide or leaving the hand they're not punching with down at their side. You can pick up on this pretty quick and land a shot they don't see coming which are the worst to get hit with. Then people seem to think that they'll just try and wrestle you, which I'm prepared for that too. Having said all that, I'll probably get my a** whooped in the next fight I get in to lol

I studied jeet kun do in high school so I'm kinda rusty but that made me a decently well rounded fighter. Boxing is my favorite sport so I got involved. I was going to go pro but found out my neck is messed up pretty bad and multiple doctors said if I boxed that there's a good chance I could end up paralyzed. I have 2 sons so I decided to listen to the doctors advice though I was reluctant at first. That's how I got in to training other people.

In a fight though, it's whatever works. Bruce Lee really kinda preached that jeet kun do isn't a style because it assumes all styles. That's kinda how I am I guess and focus more on self defense than looking for fights.
