They weren't "wants". Most of my debt was accrued when I had to make repairs to my car, and seeing as how I need my car to work and go to school I would consider these debts neccesary. Granted I did spend money on material items but I don't think they would make up for even a quater of my debt.

No one does. Donald Trump was over a million dollars in debt before he stacked everything he has now. I'm not even saying that people with money have no problems. All I am saying is that a lack of money brings about more problems then an abundance of money. Thus, "mo money mo problems" is not a true statement in my book.

I know for a 100% fact that if I had "mo money" I would have less problems.

lol......First off and not to be nosey or anything but how you gonna spend close to 10k on repairs for a 92 Ford Taurus? Man I could probably buy a newer car and fix yours for that ridiculous amount of money if not less.

Secondly of course Donald Trump isn't going to be filing for bankruptcy anytime soon but for some people it does happen. Whether you want to believe it or not is entirely up to you. I'm sure in your case more money equals less problems because the problems are already there.

.. for real..

I'm betting some of it went to maintenance and repairs.. but the rest... living outside your means. For me? If I dont have the cash to get it... I cant have it.
I purposely have no credit cards... the only thing I do have is $1000 over draft protection on my checking account.. credit is not necessarily a bad thing but I honestly believe you should have to be of a certain age and pass a class in order to get a credit card...

For real. Anyone who says different is foolish.

I'm sure people who are living in poverty with no health insurance and in need of medical attention have life so fucking easy compared to the small minority of americans who are rich.

I didn't spend that much on my car man. School alone has cost me over $2,000, in addition to food, gas and other living expenses. The repairs I made to my car were not all at once, but over several years of ware and tear.

If I were rich I would buy myself a house on the beach and be just fine. What I wouldn't do is put my face all over the television (trying to get richer) and bring problems to my doorstep. I would invest that shit and let people make money for me. Call me crazy but I don't think it would be that hard not to bring about more problems in my life.

I'm not saying you spent the whole amount on your car. I was just saying that's a ridiculous amount to be spent over the years on repairs due to "wear & tear." Even with school, food, gas and other living expenses that's a lot of money. I know you aint eating or driving that much lol....j/k. What I'm trying to say is that it's hard for a lot of us to manage money and if were not doing too good of a job now take you for example then what makes you think it's gonna be any different when we have more money to spend and bigger credit limits? Just cuz you have more money doesn't mean bills stop coming or you stop racking up more expenses. We can all sit here and say we'll do this or we wont spend this but c'mon now saying and doing are two different things.
