Theres niggaz that like him but it nothing major & he may be a young lincoln parksta a Blood hez not and neither are you. And i guess when u talkin about real gangstaz that don't laugh at the record must be from Lincoln too because i never hear about that nigga like that & if i do i hear about him as Mitchy Slicks sidekick not as a real nigga whoz standing on his own 2 feet. Theres nothing special about the nigga plus most songs he sound like he got something stuck in hez throat especially that syndo mob song. And for the record Syndo Mob was never dominant no hate real shit. Because i kno how u niggaz like to cry sayin somebodys hating on u if there not kissin yo azz all the time.

end of convo

and immortal technique isnt even that great either

you can be a lyricist all you want but that dont mean you make good songs much less good albums, take canibus for example. and lyricism isnt based on spouting off anti-political propaganda till the listener starts snoring.
i agree, to me it consitsts of some what compex rhyme schemes with some type of meaning. and just cause someones a lyricist doesnt make me like him (i dont like canibus and alot of other good lyricists) but ill still respect their skill at what they do, despite me not liking to listen to it. so to my standards, imm tech is a lyricist, and i agree his isnt all that great but he does make alot of rappers (i wont name names) sound foolish in comparsion to his work
Gas One said:
but as it stands right now WITHOUT a bias based on my tastes because i have no bias, id rather listen to tiny doo regardless of all the intellectual lyricism spewed forth by the latter..dont really need music for education or enlightenment.

and thats just one persons opinion.
im not so much educated or enlightened by it either. for the most part im already aware (as you might be too) of most of the political and historical issues that immortal technique touches on in his music, but for those who arent and learn it from his music rather than books...good for them and good for immortal technique. thats alot more of an accomplishment than alot of other rappers can or even try to make
Gas One said:
immortal technique just happens to have a cult following of white kids that wear che shirts, thats all.
and tiny doo has a MUCH SMALLER cult following of ghetto (or wannabe ghetto) kids that wear oversized night gown looking shirts. so what?

We would rather play some bumpin ass music we can play in our cars not know shit like that he posted.
i dont know about the cd players and speakers in your cars, but mine play all kinds of cds. i think i have an idea of what youre getting at but im not sure, are kids getting out of school on the streets not impressed if you trunk doesnt rattle and youre not playing gangsta rap in your car or what?

Thats some political/philosphy type of rap shit we on some street shit here at Siccness.
they both rap, they both have beats, whats the difference between the two. is it that "street shit" simply repeats and glorifies the oppression that goes on in the streets, and "political/philosophy type rap shit" actually tries to build up consciousness to try to end the oppression that goes on in the streets?

retarded topic..lol..dude who made this topic is acting like he isnt hating but when u start a thread with a condecending tone like, "who the fuck is (insert name)" or "is this guy a kid or a grown man?". Really there is no need for that type of shit, What your basicly doing is giving everyone who hasnt heard Tiny doo a first impression. So when ever these cats hear tiny doo they think of this thread, instead of letting his music do the talkin. All that is hating and is indirectly fuckin with Tiny doos pockets, and you really wouldnt want to do that.
i did hear the actual music and have been commenting on it. i started the thread cause his name is funny and his cds name is funny. i knew ppl would post info about the guy and they did...and as soon as someone posted his myspace, the first thing i did was listen to his music. i even listened to more than one track and all the way through...and i have made mention of the actual music, which is that my honest opinion is that he sounds like every other rapper that just brags about himself over and over track after track (sorry if i actually listened to the lyrics rather than just bump my head to beats that sound tight in the ride). "that guy"s got it right with his comments, but i think ive figured out the whole "hating" thing. if you just say you dont like someone, but keep inside why, then its okay. but if you explain why you dont like someone, then youre hating... so i guess im a hater...oh well
Gas One said:
and a fair shot IS bieng given in this thread. just because the threadmaker hated dont mean everyone else does, or everyone feels him..some of us are a little too old to be actin like that...matter fact tiny doo may have sold a few more records on the strngth of niggas even debating it... same cant be said for immortal technique since niggas just download his shit...hah
youre right tiny doo has probably gained a few fans through this thread, and thats fine with me, im not on some agenda to end his career or anything. he could make it to mtv and join the likes of mike jones and lil rob and all the other garbage rappers on mtv for all i care. if making money (rather than good music) is tiny doos main concern in the music biz than this thread is as good for him as a made up beef is for rappers. immortal technique has toured world wide and his revolutionary cds have probably sold a huge amount more than the critically acclaimed what it doo, so i little like thread like this probably wouldnt help him as much as it would little doo

Everybody needs to relax. Hip Hop right now is all about feedin ur kids and supporting your family. If MC(such n such) wants to make money selling bagpacking music, cool. If a Hustler wants to make money rappin about making more money or that gang music then, so be it. Everybody is in it for the cash. People just grow up differently and have different feelings about certain shit. In this case. Tiny Doo is a hustler, using music to make it in life. Immortal Technique has a lyrical talent which is great but, getcha money man, who gives a shit how u do it.

^^^^^^thats the problem with rap..thats why its almost at an all time worst cause its saturated with hustlers who sellin some wack c.ds...I understand its gotta be about the money as well cause you have to live, but there are other ways to make money besides putting out a bullshit c.d.

i'd say if its workin then keep ridin with it. U cant rap forever. Its just like crack. U cant sell it forever. Unless u r sooper dooper slick. I still havent seen a movie where the drug lord survives and doesnt get killed or locked up. I think all rap is right now, is a get rich scheme. If i could i would do what everybody else is doin right now. If u r really talented, then u'd be ready to spit some really talented shit when the ice age melts. So if i were an artist. I'd be takin that money talkin about rims and grillz and all that bullshit. Would i buy real jewelry? Hell no. Even if i was a millionaire i would rock zirconias like a muthafucka. Why not. Alot of fools would think its real anyway cuz id be rich anyway. haha

agree w/ u 100%! That's why the rap game is so saturated.....because you got former gangbangers, wanna-bes. hustlers, pimps, and/or a producers that want to make an album so they can be the next 2Pac, Jay-Z, Kanye, T.I., Snoop, or even worse the next Mike Jones. But if they all took a step back and looked at the realistic picture you would know that it's only a selected few that can make it on the Billboards, MTV/BET, Source, XXL, and other markets that are included in the rap/hip-hop game.

That's why we got bootleggers.......because there's so many rappers out there that its impossible to buy the right album so its easier to just download the best songs and put them into one album without the rapper/distributor/store ripping you off. Just like rappers gotta eat.....we "consumers" gotta eat TOO!!!

BTW......Technique has HUGE following......and its not just teens/young adults that are behind him........he has older women and men listening to his words. He's done more in life for himself and others than the majority of these rappers.

Check out Davey D's(www.daveyd.com) website and search for Immortal Technique or google "immortal technique and southcentral farmers".....if you want to know more about his accomplishments and what he's doing for the community and not for himself.

All these hustlers puttin out wack cd's is gettin paid. Why not take advantage? I wish i could get paid for makin some wack ass music. That would be easy. I understand the art concept of it, but I'd rather get paid. I know i'm not the only one that thinks like this. Gotta start thinkin of it as a business. I try to listen to alot of spitters and underground mc's but all their shit is wack too. If i'm going to listen to wack shit, i'll pick the ones with the better beats just cuz it sounds better.

^^^^ yeah but alot of these....well lets call them non rappers beats are horrible. They aint trying to spend money on beats and usually settle for a $4o fruity loop beat...If you like hyphy music then ya wouldnt notice.. now a big time hustler who has stacks..may spend alot on his project....but these are far and few in between....i know of a few rappers who...pimp sell dope and barely make ends meet...not everyone is a kingpin.....again hustlers in the game and the cheap software to make music is the biggest reason rap music mostly sucks....

^^^yeah. Alot of my favorite rappers got sorry beats. For example that Ras Kass-Institutionalized and the Return of the Spit mixtapes. I was very disappointed with those releases. He had sorry beats. His rhymes werent the best i heard from him neither. Same with E-40's new one, BUT E-40's lyrics were on point as usual. Thank goodness Ice Cube's shit was tight. Now we just gotta wait on Dr.Dre, Mitchy Slick and Game, but Game might not release on Dre's shit anymore. I'm sure that Mitch will be alot better than everything else that came out this year.

DO YOU EVEN KNOW THE MEANING OF IGNORANT? JUST ASKIN BECAUSE I DISLIKE WHEN PEOPLE USE THE WORD IN A DISRESPECTFUL WAY AND NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF IT.
