^^If it doesnt affect ur judgement as to how u raise ur son or daughter, then it shouldnt matter. Im talking about smokin' weed...nto hard drugs-or even excessive alcohol (we kno our limits) -that shit messes u up, and u cant justify doin that shit around ur kids or being under the influence of that while ur w/them...cos it does change u and ur personality that they r used to-it will scare them while theyre young, and if theyre smarter and older it will influence them.
Now if they find out ur doing it, then I dunno what to say-if they're hella young-my sit.- Id make up a lie, cos its in their best interest that I do that. If they're older and u get caught, Id have to let em know what Im doin, cos they know.
P.S U should give ur kids a heads up b4 they discover drugs, alcohol violence etc..(what u said) so theyre ready to react to it when their forced into that situation. I mean speak to them about it when they hit "that" age.

My sons are 11 and 13.. and have a crackhead for a father.. they know about drugs and alcohol... we've had the talk several times over the past 5-6 years and they are probably more knowlegable about drugs, alcohol, sex and domestic violence than most kids their age because, I mean, thats my job as a parent. I would rather they hear the truth from me than some 'you can get pregnant from kissing' bullshit that kids talk about..

^^^ I use to think that. Then one day we had a family barbeque and "Revenge Of The Nerds" came on HBO. I put my dad on front street in front of the whole family. The scene where Booger is toastin a bongload for one of the Omega Moo chicks at the party, I was like "Hey, Pop, you have a pipe like that!" Things werent the same after that.

I had the same sort of experience (I'll give you the brief version)... my Papa was telling his golfing buddies that he didnt smoke (he was talking about cigs..) and I remember piping up... "what about your smoker Papa?" (making the motions with my hands like I was holding a bong and taking a huge hit, holding it, etc) .. it got reeeeeeal quiet... I'll never forget the look on his face or that ass whippin'...

When my son had the D.A.R.E. officer come to his class a couple years ago and educate them on the lasting affects of drugs, alcohol and tobacco... do you know this officer was talking to all the kids and asked if any of them knew anyone that used these 'drugs'.. you KNOW my lil one raised his hand "My mom does! so does my dad!" ... he came home and told me alllllll about it.. I was like 'huh?!' ... you know I made that boy clear it up at the next D.A.R.E class-- mommy smokes CIGARETTES.. My boys have embarrassed the shit out of me more times than I care to remember... lol...
