How did you swing that. I know 2 people who have applied for UI Benifits over the last 6 months or so and have been denied because they were in school. The reasoning was if you are in school, you are not available for full-time work, which I think is crap. and I had another friend who just got popped for not disclosing she was in school, and they made her pay back damn near double what they gave her.

I got payed like that for two years. It was dope even though I only got like 7 dollars an hour. But it was during my second job ever so it was cool.

I just go to school at night, and I told them that I'm still available to work full time

I was going to school at night when I was working 8:00-4:30 5 days a week... they told me as long as I'm available to work within those hours I can collect

damn i feel bad for all them mexicans on the corner workin cheap as fuck sellin oranges and shit all hours of the day jus to provide for them selves while theres strong young to middle aged men sittin on the comp talkin about where the fuck is there unemployment. Londo ur a idiot, u obviously don't know how unemployment works. I've been payin taxes for years now, its my money n im gettin it back for 1. 2. I spent 13 months in iraq to n eligable for my ui benefits. 3. Im not gonna take a minimum wage job over my 852 every 2 weeks, when 852 barely pays my bills. 3. Its not lazy, to hold out till u find a decent paying job. It may have taken a while but it payed of cause now I got that job n im gonna b makin money.........IM RIACH BIATCH!!! Lol on another note, jus found out my ui was payed on the 25th, so I should b gettin paid today tommorow. Thank god its bout damn time

i dont have to do that for my unemployment...I dont have that box checked off so i dont fill it out.......I still get paid so fuck it. Been off for a little over a month applied to 10 jobs and no call backs...FUCK

This is very true.... On a side note though nobody is going to take a job paying them the same as there unemployment. Should just keep putting in applications in tell you get something paying you more then the check you get sitting on your ass.
