thats treal talk. im from fillmoe and i like messy marv, but he is overrated in the bay area rap scene. im not talkin' about him being overrated as in the whole industry, im talkin' about him being overrated in the bay area rap cirlce only.

you don't have to jock every person from the Bay... simply because they're from the Bay

it's ok to say people are overrated

I agree with a lot of other people that say Messy Marv is overrated

don't get me wrong... he's sick... but I don't think he's on the same level as rappers like Mac Dre, Keak, E-40, or Yukmouth... who are the Bay's top rappers in my opinon

but like I said... that's just my opinion... no need for people to get mad about it

I like Mess, but I think his skills shine more when him and Quinn get on a track together...Explosive Mode is the shit!...Yuk should get back with Numbskull and do another Luniz cd...Operation Stackola...classic...Mac Dre lyrically has always put it down IMO...he says that makes u go WTF?...it's that crazy way out shit....but, for me the production recently he was rollin' with...not feelin it.....E-40 been always supporting, but damn the last two cds he dropped ain't been no back to back bumbles shit....Spice-1...I would love to see this guy back on his game, but the material he has been dropping recently...all garbage IMO....Mac Mall...what happen to him? He sure ain't drop no solid solo releases in awhile....so let's see who's overrated?....shit, whoever you think is....haha....LOL

I aint feelin yall when yall say Mess and Yuk is overrated. Thats 2 of my favorites. I can see how some folks might not like em though. But to be a fan of Bay music and say 40 is overrated is just retarded to me. I think 40 might be the best rapper to ever come out the Bay.

The 5 best Mac Dre cd's are....

I've known about him for years, but I never got around to picking up anything. I'll probably start with the U.S. Open cuz I'm a big Mac Mall fan, but don't know which others to get.

KEAK CAN BE DOPE BUT HE CAN ALSO BE ANNOYING IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE BEAT, HE HAS ONE OF THOSE STYLES WHERE ITS A HIT OR MISS.
